Hey there ! I took a long break of the game because of my studies, and now i'm finally coming back ! The thing is, I forgot EVERYTHING, and with what i'm struggling right now is the addons, which discourage me a lot. There are so manies of them, and i'm wondering, what are the main addons to use ? I know there are specific ones depending on the character (Like PlanB for Black Ork), but in general, what should I look for ?
I'm not sure if I should post my question here or directly in the addon forum, but i'll try here and I apologies if I should not have.
(If you help me, you'll get a tank/healer player eheh)

Re: Which addons are the most useful ?
Hi, welcome back.
Essential imo:
1. Enemy
2. Buffhead
3. Swift Assist
4. Guard Pack
For aesthetics/QoL I like:
Pure, Warboard, TidyRoll

Deathblow2 as a DPS. But beware, you may get addicted to the sound and playing tank/heal will never be satisfying again.

The above poster is 100% correct in their suggestions. There are a lot more that will be very useful, but the above mentioned are almost mandatory to be functional.

Re: Which addons are the most useful ?
Or save yourself the trouble and look for ui Pack like Viny for example
Re: Which addons are the most useful ?
the ones Vaul listed plus
Cmap: gives you better overview of situations with better minimap.
SoR: shows the RvR campain
I like to use a target addon like rv_mods targets, or Woh_reticle to have better visiability where my target is.
miraclegrow remix or light if you use cultivating as your profession.
Buffhead requires some game knowledge and time to set it up proberly. Without correct settings its not a big help. With good settings its a huge advantage. Either ask someone for help/their settings or as Mcz said: get a ui Pack where it is set up properly. VinyUi for example has a versions for tank, heal and dps

Re: Which addons are the most useful ?
My 2 cents
+ TargetRing - essential for tank/dps
+ MGR - big QoL for crafting
+ Amethyst/Obsidian - essential for casters.
+ QQueuer - used to be a nice QoL improvement also, waiting to be patched properly according to the all new scs.
+ SimpleCombatText - great replacement for WSCT.

Use Miracle Grow Lite. More performance friendly.Atropik wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 10:23 amMy 2 cents

Re: Which addons are the most useful ?
Does enemy have a tutorial associated with how to use it? I had installed it but later disabled it because it came with no information as to use it. Not even a command to open it.
