Passive inaction should not be rewarded.
In my mind keep attack/defense should not be rewarded , only the zone and only if there was enough fighting not pvdoor
Current reward system supports zerging and passive play

Realm balance push toward such behaviour.
Destros are just superior when fight at open space while orders excel at more static environments like keeps and forts.
So each realm try to get their best environment

Hei Lumpi33, how sad do you think is it, leveling a zone to 3 stars, start sieging and order aao 40 % is gone, because many destro players switch to order for def!!! Thats the problem atm or no sorry, the whole time!

Its obvious when people ignore the zone, if defenders have high AAO before siege and as soon as ram gets spawned numbers gets equal or even defenders have higher numbers. Almost downing a door or fully downing a door is tactical choice and it should make a huge difference, epecially if numbers flip since ram got spawned. You should be rewarded for killing, not just unleashing inner Hodor. If you don't defeat attackers, just sit in keep and they walk away, what you want to be rewarded for? It's not players vs doors game.

How is it a bad thing to reward people after successfully defending a keep?
People ignoring zones is non sense. They are being pushed out of the zone by roaming warbands. As soon they see a chance to get kills or rewards like in keep fights they will go there. The only reason they are doing this is because they got killed over and over again in the open field and then wait for the attack to happen in a frustrated waiting mode. Why that is has often been said and is another issue.
Having AAO gone after the siege started is a good thing. People on the underdog, defending side realize that there might be some gains there and go for it. It supports the balancing out of the population. Without that the dominating side would just stomp one keep after another.
After a successful defense they usually have the moral boost and momentum to push out, fight in the open and maybe start their own keep attack. That's how it always has been and it is good when the dominating side shifts from time to time.
Leaving a keep with the door almost open is not preceived as tactical, only as big middle finger and abusing game play to prevent any ticks and rewards. They failed with their siege attempt and the defenders succeeded. Period.
Rewarding people for participating and successfully accomplish something is never a bad thing. Stop this punishing, no reward attitude.
They should put more taverns and towers in like in High Pass or BFB. Whenever people can go somewhere and have some kind of protecting then a lot of fighting and action is happening around these objects. HP is one of the best zones with the tavern, tower, walls and tunnels. In zones like DW or praag people are getting pushed out of the zone or into keeps without that objects. That's when they sit in keeps or warcamps when they can't compete in the open.
So, beside the def rewards, we need more taverns and of course more beer

no wonder ppl whant pve dor. disable defend keep with respawn there so ppl have their rolls. and we wonder why all game is 1 sided. no matter its destro or order.
p.s also oil should have diferent spawn or even u cant use oil if u have 0 star keep (its same as any siege engine)
0 star - no bonuses for defenders
1 star- oil + respawn into keep
2star oil/siege engine/respawn into keep
p.s maby disable keep and make all zones t1? first who reach 100% lock zone. (lotd works like that). t1 evrywhere. because ppl will leave if they need siege fort/keep if there is defenders. isnt gms already make game so simple like somkinda wow. soon anyway u will need send medals to atatckers so they dont offend because keep has hero lord in 3d floor. byt they whanted empty keep. lol no wonder we losing ppl

You can also do that one as a troll, but also to draw the other faction to a zone, in order to tie them up trying to repair the door etc, while you go attack another keep, Now you have a wb trying to repair the door in one zone, while the rest are trying to defend another keep, so forces are split.
I`ve been away for awhile, hit 80 in late 2018, early 2019, and normally take a break for 8 months, or so then log on for a month, or two, then take a break again. What I see now that`s annoying, is during prime time EU, the numbers are pretty much even, and it`s mostly a stalemate, and good fights all round that is great.
What find lame, is between 100am est, and 600am est, Order likes to pve keeps, and forts, most of the time you will see 80 or more order zerging a keep, or fort, with less than 13 defenders on dest side. Every morning when I check Campaign status, when I logged off at 1000pm cst, no one had taken a fort, but at 600am Order has taken 2 lol As an Order player I find this sad really, and log off as soon as I see Order doing this.
How can it be fun to pve keeps, and forts in a RvR game, I even looed at the Killboard city scenario lists , to see how often Altdof gets sieged. There are around 10 city instances a month on average, in the last 9 months starting in Nov 2022, Dest has sieged Altdorf 6 times total, out of a possibly 90 city sieges, due to PVE order late night crew, taking empty forts .
I log off now whenever dest does, game is not worth playing if all they are going to do it pvdoor empty keeps, the last 3 years whenever I come back to check on how the game is doing, t`s still the same. Kill board stats is semi lae as well, you have people avoiding fights they may die in, and ruin their kill board stats, and see entire a wb chasing solo low lvl 16 to 20 players to pad kill board numbers lol .
Game seemed much better, and more fun from jan 2016, through 2019.

Should be a bannable offense to tell people in region chat to leave the zone to prevent giving rps. Same as telling people to turtle up in the keep or not pushing in a keep push. Door should be locked until a ram is spawned. As soon as the ability patch lands lets hope they do something to make this behaviour unrewarding. It is killing the game. This is an RvR game that needs fights to make it fun and by denying them its making the game dull and people are leaving.
