Can't find historic characters

Had to stop playing RoR for a while due to work commitments.
Had a number of Order and Destro characters.
Reinstalled RoR on a new machine and can't find my characters from last year.

Got the names of any of your characters? You can check the Armory to see if they are listed there. That would at least let you see if they still exist...

Hi mate. looked up a few of my destro chsracters on Armory and found three of them. Yay!
What's the next step in reclaiming them?

Characters have not been deleted from accounts. If you are logging into a ROR account and seeing no characters then it means that was not actually the account your characters were on and you have another account/email which you were using to actually play the game with.

I have quite the same problem. How did you find your characters? Did you find another username/password-combo as at your first try or was it something different?
