Many of us who do a great deal of crafting have to use mules for things like dyes. I wish dyes were exempt from bound to player restrictions because all of my dyes are on toons that I don't particularly play. My Witch Elf now has 10 snow white dyes, and she's practically naked.

The dyes are mostly exempt from the bound to player restrictions, there are some older ones that have variations of both bop and unbound.
Even your snow white has unbound version, i just guess you were unlucky and stocked up on the ones that are bop.
I think that when certain hard to get dye was made easy to get it was in BoP and when it was hard to get it, it was not bop.


And i dont even want to talk about the samndi black that has 3 variations, rr100, bop and unbound.

Thank you for the clarification, that makes sense. Snow white dye is borked after the rework anyway. I'm to lazy/salty to file a bug report.

I think it was 2022 when I bugreported old snow/pure white dyes turning bop. After some patch some of them turned bop (but not all), answer was that new ones are fixed and not bop anymore but they couldn't do much about the old ones.

That's not a bad idea. Special dye vendor exists after all.
