A good mix would be nice, fighting is part of this game. For those who complete refuse to fight and enjoy this sc as pure circle running, I would recommend NASCAR Heat, look is a little bit older but the game is enjoyable!

It is Thunder Valley 2.0, where you can win despite avoiding fights. Guess why solo players like it. :)

I dunno where you people are getting you're nascar mentality from because on this map i've had more fights and healthy pvp than any other.

its a slug fest in there.

And yes its a good map for solo players, i don't know why you would think that's a bad thing for the game to have.
Seeing as they are the vast majority in any game.

My personel issues with the map:

1. You can want to win as much as you want, if the mass want to farm kills you are lost. We had a SC this weekend and needed our last win but 2 groups just fought between two objectives, so we lost.

2. If not organized people split up from second one and this remain for the rest of the SC, if the enemy choose to blob up it's just a big meatgrinder.

3. Taking both together, it's not a good map for solo players. If you want to solo the objetives, you need a lot of people in the sc play along with this, you will never be able to tab fast enough to get more points then the enemy. If you run around and enemy spot you, there is no chance to retreat, they will get you no matter how good your kiting skills are. And even in a big brawl, chances to get kills in a three group sc are lower if damage is not timed, a lot more random healing is flying around and the chances you have 18 people randomly play together are lower then 12 people.

4. After all, this game is about fighting, running around in circles without interacting with the enemy is boring af even if you win like this, thats were the nascar comments are coming from.

1. Scenarios are (ostensibly) about winning i.e. reaching 500 points first. The devs have decided to make most of them kill box simulators but, in the end, the goal is still a race to that point total by whatever means except that ...

2. Most of Old Dwarf Road this weekend was ignoring the objectives because of Kegs End where you just needed to "participate" and also needed X number of kills versus each race plus the presents. Winning the SC was secondary at best.

3. And, finally, the goal of this game is generally not fighting. Like most MMOs it is about gear/character progression with some resource gathering thrown in (to help with progression). And the fastest way to do that is PUG farming which is probably one of the motivations behind most SCs being kill box simulators. However even PUGs get tired of being farmed so you need to have some SCs in there that cater to them so they stay around.

There you go. I've explained everything. Now they can close the thread and we never have to speak of this again.

Id say its the best sc map so far.
Did about 80 solo plays (it is alot for me because typically i play few scenarios and thats it) and got 50 wins 30 losses.
And even when losing we were close to winning mostly.

Yup its great, its literally how every SC should be behaving.

Instead its usually a horrible pill box for premades that slaughters one side in 10s then they spend the rest of the game hiding in warcamp. i don't blame them.

That's not exactly true. The vast majority of pug players don't bother and keep feeding. Only a few, mostly organized/more experienced players, show some dignity and stay in spawn until surrender. It takes at best one death to judge the power of both teams and make a conclusion.
In many cases, if solo queue, the class setup is already an indication how it will play out.
Dying is no option.

The fact that you think this is a PVE scenario is hilarious.
I've had more pvp in it than most other scenarios by far, more balanced too - because its spread out instead of blobbed in the centre with no alternative to win if you're on the losing side.

I completed my kill count event faster than any other SC, in a few hours - usually takes me the whole weekend.
Its an absolute slug fest and its glorious!
