[AoE Sorc/BW] suggestion for "DPS phase" of roadmap

hello,

Target of the suggestion:
The idea with these suggestion options is to make some weak links within each spec a better alternative to pickup from mastery investment, and make the whole spec tree make more sense within the realm the career belongs to, both with synergies, enemy counters, different realm-playstyles. Within the thematical role of careers & realms. Hopefully without overdoing it.

Background:
Mostly played RR 93 aoe playstyle BW. RR 82 aoe sorc. Among other RR 80s and 10k ring alts. Both as guildleader, trying to push for competitie warband rosters over the years since 2018 - 2024 on & off. Played both sides in guilds, warbands, pugging, soloing, zergsurfing and teorycrafting guildrosters with warband compositions over different metas.
I'd like to think I know when something is overtuned, and when something is underperforming within the Realms and how different classes and specs synergize.

Suggestion
BW
Backdraft 13point mastery ability is a closerange 360degree aoe punt. This ability is very rarely used because of how it thematically doesnt make much sense for a closerange build to punt the nearby targets away with a long dot attacked to it.
Proposal:
Backdraft is changed to an Elemental DD Aoe filler.
2sec Cooldown while Fiery Reserves is slotted. 20combustion. 35ap cost. Instead of a dot it detonates any existing Flamebreath Dot from the user on the targets to an instant tick of DD. (could add Spreading Flames[mastery], and Wildfire[mastery], if the damage is too low from just Flamebreath's DoT to be a 13pointer ability worth picking up and fitting in thematically to the spec)

Thoughtprocess behind:
Backdraft in current version is rarely picked up as neither the aoe punt or the long dot is not appealing for a 13point mastery ability.
Brightwizard Conflagration mastery tree is focused around Dots, and close range aoe. This suggestion fits the aoe BW closerange rotation into a 1)Flamebreath, 2)Scorched Earth, 3)new 13point ability instead of the current Flamebreath filler with Scorched Earth while Annihilate is on cooldown or the fight is mobile so you cant stop and channel Annihilate


Sorc
Black Horror is both a long casttime aoe ability and an initiative debuff in its current form. Neither of these are especially wanted nor needed on Destro.
Proposal:
Black Horror is turned into a 1.5sec casttime 65ft aoe cast. Same ap cost and spamable, but now with 5%disrupt debuff on hit curse for 5seconds (damage numbers need to be competitive but slightly lower than Surging Pain because of "spender" vs spamable, and ranged vs melee)

Thoughtprocess behind:
Destro doesnt have any means to apply ranged "normal" Pierce Defence, but instead of one more magical ranged class.
Sorcs doesnt have Flashfire like BW, so they are more interested in getting less disrupts against them, this debuff would help with that in funnels. Destro already have acces to an aoe init debuff in Monstro mara init/WS dot, so Blackhorror is not needed as init debuff also. This ability with lower cooldown would also help the akward aoe closerange melee bomb rotation of Sorc where you are spamming two Icespikes from middletree you dont have any points in, as a mobile filler between your DC/IW/Surging Pain/shadowknives. Aoe Sorc needs a filler where BW can get away with 20combustion Flamebreath, Scorched Earth, Flamebreath. Icespikes is only 10combustion but doesnt require a tactic.
Black Horror would fit into the Path of Destruction medium range playstyle of Fan of Knives, IW, New BH filler.


Any values, numbers or effects are naturally up for debate. This suggestion is made for inspiration between Devs and Balance group
