That is correct, Destruction needs a buff for all classes.
I suggest a flat 10% dmg bonus on everything. Also buff shamans, give 1 more dot and make RUN AWAY! baseline passive. 8-)

Just kidding, the thing is everything below lvl 40 is a mess. And T1 iespecially is even worse than T2-3 because Healers are immortal and Tanks in 2h are as strong as dps. There are some classes, that profit from the RvR scaling more than others and feel like gods with the correct gear and fully slotted talismans. For example i remember on my IB i could just facetank about everything in RvR starting at 31 up to 35 or 36 and deal way to much dmg on top of it.
The thing is, as soon as you hit lvl 40 you are paper unless you have armor ready to go or can compensate through RR.
RR is Renown Points. RR gives you very high flat stat boosts and high percentages of defense. (very important to have high Renown. As a new player you should aim to hit lvl 40 and have your Renown level at 40 as well. Everything above that is great. Everything below that is rough because you will get crit non stop.

So if you are lvl 40 and dont have good gear and are low in RR it's like: Imagine it like in wow. You hit max level in green/blue PvE gear, queue up for a battleground and deal 0 dmg and die in 3 global cooldowns. Even though this wont change here if you play vs premades. You will die, except if you are Gilgam dancing on the side of a cliff messing with people. Maybe Gilgam could take you in as an IB disciple, but IB is harder to play and definitely harder to master than Chosen.

Guildwise you could try getting in contact with Italian Job, they can definitely help you with all your questions.

If you follow the recommendations here and keep on playing a bit longer you will see what the different classes are capable of.
You have a really hard goal if you want to focus on 1v1. Escpecially as a new player without any ressources and experience. It will be a long and hard road but if you are successful you might one day stand in IC and beg people to duel you for gold. 8-)
Lol Thank you very much !!!!

I already told him that IB is the class he's looking for, but even as an IB the start will be rough because you will often fight people with endgame gear and with a lot of renown points more than you. You have to accept this and adapt until you get your endgame gear and can deliver the pain.

Punting people off cliffs and separating groups using terrain is another thing you must master for a successful solo career, because you will be fighting 1vX more often than 1v1. Also, punting people off cliffs even if you are going to die vs a wb is positive cause next time they might just ignore you, so you get to survive.

You know I also realize that we lack a lot of healers and I would like to help in that BUT I would need a briefing and only If it’s not complicated otherwise I let this task to others.

Healers are fun to play for me personally also all 3 can be played as dps aswell which are quite alright for soloing, shaman definitely being the best one and I'd say zeal and dok are pretty much tied (both have pros and cons) zealot is very strong into all range and with bis gear its quite strong into melee aswell but requires bit of practise to beat good melees. Dps or shield dok is super strong into melee but suffers from same things as tanks that they get kited alot and they cannot really do anything if they cannot reach their target :)

You can also make other tank classes work (maybe with exception of KOTBS) as well as White Lion and Squigherder, but they require more effort und certainly high end gear.

If you just want to stomp the majority of enemies 1vs1 without the need of super specialized gear you pick AM or Shaman. The first has a little more kill pressure due to having one more dot, therefore the latter has a run tactic that makes it easier to kite out multiple enemies.
Def WE still viable after the nerfs?

I don’t pretend to be true, but the full version of regeneration and protection is not viable. The main thing is that Witchbrew is now dependent on strength. The most viable option is a certain hybrid. Not OP of course, but you can play.
