Question about RvR Mechanics - i am new

Hello. I returned after years to Warhammer to see what have changed.

I look for a guide about the World-PvP mechanics (YouTube-Video or description). I prefer german - but english is also good.

- Ultimate goal is still the enemy city ?
- Have lower tiers any influence on the champaign ?
- I remeber on live server the factions avoid each other and raiding empty keeps to get the fat loot. Is it still the same ?
- have scenarios influence on the campaign ?
- how to capture a zone ?
- what is the meaning of the blue/red lines on the campain map ?
- what is the meanig of the relics ? Where are they ?

How works this campain system ?

It is astonishing that there isn't a post devoted to just that - the RvR Campaign mechanics and settings that the devs for RoR have it set at. I know you can find a page online that shows all the mechanics and patches on live. And some posts here will talk about a few of the main mechanics. But that is it. I'm hoping someone knows where to go to find the actual list, especially since so much has been changed and tweaked in RoR.

Not really. City now happens at scheduled times and have no unique rewards, so pushing zones so "your faction can win" doesn't mean anything. The only appeal to City is created inside the community - if you join a competitive guild and want to beat another competitive guild, satisfaction comes from that. Realistically, less than 1% of the playerbase does that, the rest only go to City for Crests or because its fun for them.

No.

Kinda. No "fat loot" available tho. You get a loot bag + renown/crests, but if you take an empty keep the rewards go down significantly. The only way to get a lot of rewards is by fighting. People will still go for empty keeps but its not cuz of rewards in my opinion, its due to the difficulties of forming pug warbands. In a game where 1k unique players will be around if u account for all the different timezones, we have less than a dozen "pugleaders". And you can't do anything without a leader.
- have scenarios influence on the campaign ?
No.
- how to capture a zone ?
Capture at least two Battle Objetives (the flags on the map) so they start spawning SUpply Boxes. Run those boxes to your Keep our your Warcamp, that will increase your Keep's level. At level two you spawn a Battering Ram. Take that Ram to the enemy Keep, destroy its outer and inner door, kill everyone in your way then kill the Keep Lord. After he is dead you have to control all 4 Battle Objectives + The Keep. Do that and your faction captures the zone.
- what is the meaning of the blue/red lines on the campain map ?
No idea what you're talking about so its probably meaningless.
- what is the meanig of the relics ? Where are they ?
Relics were part of an event. They'll be back next year. Its just a fun thing we get to do only for a couple of weeks every year.
