I have definitely felt that my feedback was appreciated as this ridiculous patch was pushed through.

Short test of 9 man aoe. Completely reverted instead of any meaningful thought put into it. Back to mindless aoe spam.

Did you know that 2h Borc BiS has 140 initiative base? That number isn't much different for most 2h Tanks. KEK

Squig defense changes are awful and just make gameplay feel worse while none of the Shadow Warriors mirrored abilities were touched. Now Squig is almost forced to run Detaunt tactic or pull out Basic Squig for defense while also sitting in Squig Armor. You could have addressed Basic Squig or Detaunt tactic or removed armor tali stacking contributing to Squig Armor and Assault Stance, instead we get.. this.

And this was.. about a week on PTR with no planned PTR event to get large feedback?

At least you posted your reasoning behind the changes.

I am sorry Uchoo.......you have been great for the community and for the game...... you are appreciated! I am gonna have to find another game to play until Interbellum launches....and that makes me very sad. I hope those responsible for this mess enjoy the server. It was fun while it lasted.

I think you have a typo, or miscommunication (maybe you meant "counter-defense"?). Physical damage classes need to invest in two stats for damage. You highlight the very reasoning for it sentence later, when you explicitly mention they need to access armor penetration tools to compensate for it, and I'm glad you will be reviewing it. That said, I'm all for the initiative changes and removal of parry from WS, because I think players should have to make meaningful choices between their stats.

There needs to be a look over of itemization stats as a result of this though, especially tanks and MDPS who have majority WS stats on their gear. As a tank who wants to buff their parry up, where am I supposed to source that from, outside of parry % items and talismans? Stats from sets and items giving WS are much less desired now, and is ubiquitous on their gear.
Just parry stats and init on gear. It's enough if you mix properly . Melee DD shouldn't get free defensive stats by pushing offensive ones. Chance to be crit is improved for most, if not all classes, when you have unbuffed around 250 init with gear.

That stat changes can be overcome, the barriers are a more serious topic :P

I agree, I was purely talking about the difference between Physical DPS and Magical DPS classes and their stat reliance being one class needs two to reach optimal damage, and the other only needs one. The wording of the patch notes seemed erroneous in that regard.

Can we please go back to the base ability rework pacht, or even before that preferably. leave it there. And stop fiddling with careers. Players and guilds are legit leaving this game as a result in persueing whatever this direction is. :shock:

Fort and keep changes are the way to proceed, enough of this direction pulling random changes out of a hat changing stuff noone asked for.
This direction stinks of "tailtagging zero death mentality" who play once a week shadowbalancing, and it pushes players out who play almost daily away from the game

Did U notice that those changes affects only mdps and some 2h tanks? This is not balancing anything, it is boosting range dps. Maybe U skipped it because U play am dps or sth like that :)

Do not worry they are just now starting on healer changes and have not even started on dps classes. Who knows what all this will look like when they are done. It’s a disaster so far.

U are right :)
and i made mistake in my last post: those changes dont touch all mdps because WH doesnt care about parry and WL can be builded nicely without parry too :) So mostly Slayer, Choppa, Mara, 2H BO, 2H Kotbs, Msquig, Msw
