Lost Parry Recovered?

Just curious as to whether or not people have been able to recover their lost parry % - If so how did you do it? What did you have to sacrifice to get it if anything? Has anyone been able to increase their parry?

I haven't logged into the game for awhile but I will tomorrow and see with Talis/ items what my parry will be. Prior to all the recent patches was about 64% pre buffs from procs etc. so will follow up Thursday
First RR90 Slayer working towards the top of the mountain.I still solo, still run riposte.

Not even close, no. Lost like 25% parry as kotbs, and completely lost all WS to try and get more % sacrificing most if not all of my armor pen. Neat right?

Wonder if people actually tried searching for setups maximizing init, instead of just slotting init talis. Plenty of sets out there with init set bonuses, starting with Imperator set- head+ shoulders, total cost 400 crests, +61 init bonus, as well as good defensive mods. Just mixing sov+ triump might finally not be the best setup, which is a good thing actually.

If you do magic damage then going ini is a no brainer. For physical this patch is just a straight nerf

I need to try a mix of Imperator + Sentinel + another set with HP bonus on my Knight but I don't really like Imperator stats for 2H defensive tanks. Rare-Fortune can be another idea.

There is a reason why every sorc slots intel talis instead of say wounds- offensive stats ain't that easy to get on casters, caster going all defensive will have to sacrifice dmg.

Not to mention, this patch actually buffed defensive mdps, including vs rdps:

-slotting init, mdps still get parry.
-slotting init also gives dodge, which mdps didn't had before. So a buff vs shs which orders loves to complain about, right there.
-slotting init also lowers mdps chance to be crit, which ws didn't do. So more protection vs everybody, including vs casters- bws/sorcs need to crit, or they do no dmg.

Might also be worth checking if any lower sets have init set bonuses for 2-3 parts- you might be sacrificing some armor, but from other hand there might be set with 2-3 parts with a good mods on individual parts. 2% parry and init on part is 2% parry and init on part, whatever its a sov or a domi.

Also might be worth checking bb weapons- some have surprisingly good init mods. Also lower jewelry, including possibly some green vendor one- back during RA spec for example, on my WE despite having sov I still used 1 green vendor gem with str/toughness/ws- since the total mods were better for spec than genesis etc.

Nope

I went from having 32% parry to now having 9%

Impossible to get some decent parry with Initiative, it's a bad joke.

Worst patch ever, hoping the stat change gets reversed soon.

Last year you had even less, get flat parry if you want to stack it. What class?
