I am pretty sure you still had 2 or 3 fleshrenders on at the time, I remember checking because I am interested, but indeed I might be mistaken. If I am, then thanks for running a build I stood a chance against <3 It's very kind of you hahahamazi761111 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 2:07 pmthat is you??haaha that time i use galsscanon...full dps..400toug no parry no fs..if i use aprry build sm no chanc win.3Form wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 12:34 pm Ancancar, you run a very defensive setup on your squig herder right? I remember, you couldn't outdamage the single +64 regen shoulders on my swordmaster and had to constantly disengage. So I'm not sure how you're expecting to kill snb IB?
Same goes for the fleshrender chosen player a page or two back.
When you build deftard (to win 1v1s through pure attrition) this is the result. You do great against stragglers that are set up for warband play, but someone eventually comes along with a build you can't beat, that does what you are doing but much better.
I think it's pretty simple, Gilgam says it already, to beat a regen build you need to outdamage the regen. And you're never going to do that if you built regen yourself.
I'm not a very experienced solo roamer, I've mostly done 2-3 man, with barely 100 solo kills. But my offensive 2h SM, whose only regen piece is +64 on shoulders, has given Badchosen his only solo death this year... https://killboard.returnofreckoning.com/kill/37390652 Because with magic damage their armour doesn't matter and with high ST dps (800-900 on altdorf dummy) you can overcome the regen.
I killed a couple other fleshrenders: chosens, maras. It has taken between 25k-35k kill damage to take them down. And like Gilgam also says, I've had a harder time against Chosens that don't run regen. Wiggsplitter's weaponskill setup (now defunct I guess) just destroyed me, and I lost one out of two to Bibiloi/Goodunion not long ago too.
So I think it's pretty silly that "deftard" players complain they cannot kill another defensively specced player. I mean it's literally the point of these builds, you are just getting a taste of your own medicine. And Gilgam seems to have really nailed his setup with crazy survivability but enough offence to deal with regen players. But there has been more than enough comments in this thread to make him feel great already =)
It's a shame it did not capture the full skirmish, because you kited expertly when I tried to cheese you with bladeshield... I thought this guy knows what he is doing. At the time I did not realise you were Lordunderwear.
It means you are like 80:1 solo kills in 2024 on your chosen??? Pretty impressive!
