i think engi/magus need to be fluidify a bit in their set up, right now i feel the class is too slow to compete in WB roam resulting often in frustrating experience like fight is way over or moved before u got time to set up turret, stack buff, dot everyone and actually start doing dmg etc.. (i speak mostly for the aoe spec which i try the most) since most other class have powerfull engage on impact, most of time ur wb will stomp or get stomp before u reach the intended power of the class even if its better in a def situation when u dont have to move or follow your WB leader, i think the class deserve to be able to follow WB roam a bit more efficiently like other do, my few idea :
1- Lower the number of upgrade from turret/demon to 7 - 14 - 20% (currently 4-8-12-16-20% feel slow and the short range make u loose stack easily)
2- Make instant turret/demon core with increase CD on it, 15-20sec maybe, with each turret its own CD, rework well oiled machine to work on bugsman/rod/maybe reduced magnet cast/CD aswell ? mirrored to magus of course
3- OR reduce the CD of redeploy to 10sec (20 currently) instead of instant turret to make it more easy to keep on track with the turret/demon
4- i feel like it could be fun if the self destruct turret/demon could have different effect depending on the type of turret u blow up like extra burn dot on flame turret explosion but the current aoe KD is pretty strong already so hard to balance such thing
5- please take a look to the magnet spell, this spell feel so cluncky to use, idk about the magus one but the magnet feel bugged, sometimes it dont pull people at all even without immune, sometimes it dont pull everyone the same way toward the magnet, it look like this spell have a problem as far as i can tell

I do agree Flak Jacket just really seems useless or maybe lackluster..
It seems like something they added when they realized Engineers needed a just a bit more armor.

Its an armor buff which stacks (intentionally) with armor pot. If you want to really stack armor, you can add dwarf armor tactic on top as well. What exactly are you complaining about lol?

I get the whole armor pot thing.
Just would be nice if it gave armor buff plus something crazy and interesting being an engineer.
