Re: [SL] why so unpopular?
slayer is now more of a liability than a carry thats why.
Re: [SL] why so unpopular?
Slayer was never that good, Destro just like whining when their big tanks can't 100% block everything. AoE damage on SL was just fluff unless you had a bunch of Slayers (Which rarely happened), Rampage was iterally a non issue because why would dps attack tanks?
What happened was that in some RvR situation, a rampaging SL got face to face with the usual BO/Chosen front line and did some damage to them. Not much, mind you, because AoE was so gimped. But that was enough for them to cry.
ST WL was always better than AoE Slayer even during the apex of the whining. WL was the only class that could reliably kill Shammies and SHs without much trouble because of Pounce and debuffs, Slayer could never dream of doing that because your burst wasn't high enough if you specced AoE Tree.

Re: [SL] why so unpopular?
It's scary to see what the community thinks about SL.
It shows how low the level of players on RoR is.

That's a fascinating coincidence then. To have 4 of them at the top. But sure, dream on.agemennon675 wrote: Wed Sep 18, 2024 8:45 amThat is just an indication of playtime you realise that right ?Mooselager wrote: Wed Sep 18, 2024 7:59 amYeah, its wild! how else could the top 4 monthly killers consistantly be SW!? so wild I know.Sulorie wrote: Tue Sep 17, 2024 10:57 pm

Re: [SL] why so unpopular?
Shadow Warriors are in a good spot, but the only reason they top the leaderboards is not even through strength. Its just ridiculously easy to AoE dot everything in a clump and then get kill credit for it even if you did a miniscule amount of damage with the DOT. Shadow warrior on leaderboard is literally all fluff, I was rank 1 weekly just the other day through aoe spamming scenarios doing next to no meaningful damage lolVoldt wrote: Wed Sep 18, 2024 9:54 amThat's a fascinating coincidence then.
