Running the game at high FPS (280)

Hi folks,
Sorry if this has been discussed somewhere else, maybe there's an existing thread with an answer.
I have a friend who won't play games unless he can run them at 280fps (which makes it hard for us to find stuff to play together ). He says that the game animations break when running at such a high framerate so is there anyone out there running the game at this level on a high end machine too?

Past 100fps, the game animations do become buggy and issues can occur. I used to run 120fps and stopped doing because of it. Now I stay <100fps

You can run the game up to its engine limit of ~99 fps and then use frame-gen like AFMF2 to double the output frames to ~198 fps.
