[SM] Parry Stacking

They should not stack because they are both from an ability source. Only the most powerful instance from each source can stack: Ability, Tactic, Morale, and Career Mechanic (there are some rare instances where this rule does not stand).

So weapon proc and basic class ability both count as ability?

Follow-up question: Does the second parry from Impeccable Reactions count as a “defense” for purposes of procing Reactionary?

Follow-follow-up question: I’m sure (assuming) Reactionary doesn’t stack, but something someone said earlier seemed to suggest it can be “evergreen”, ie if it procs again during the 10 second duration, it refreshes the duration. True or false?

The rules are changed here to almost always nothing stacks:E Rp/Zealot 1500 armour tactic used to stack with Armour potion or skill, and Morales stacked with both but this is the limit. 10% Parry/dodge/Disrupt Proc from Wpn stacked with 7/8% Block/parry etc from Vanquisher Set (As it should) And tactics would stack with both of these, Morales as well BUT 3x stack was always the limit, so smallest amount 7-8% would be replaced by the morale buff.

When there existed 700 Armour proc for All that stacked with armour potion (Or armour buff from skill) + 800 armour Proc these 3 stacked! But after this if Ze/Rp 1500 armour would replace 660 armour potion if both 700 and 800 armour procs are up. And Morale on top would replace 700 armour proc.

Also Class Mechanics like Sm/Blorc Bellows should stack, if not with ability at least with Tactic proc. Remember When SM had Absorb bellow? Or 2x Spirit Resis Debuff with Bellow + WoH. Because Armour debuffs are generally double the proc amounts like 1500 mara armour debuff, this used to stack with Marauder wpn with 800 armour debuff! But when you start to think and calculate that is 2300 armour debuff.

And 660+700+880 = 2200-2300. So it evens out. Generally its 3 Defensive Stacks vs 2 Offensive Stacks but they Equal out in the end.

This is what we should get back to! Why is Boost V like the only Proc that stacks with Crit Liniment? Because there is Overall Crit like sorc/bw mechanic that gives 35% Universal crit which was amazing because as sorc Absorb Vitality heal portion could crit and that was the only thing making AV worth it imo. I think Sorc 100% Higher Crits affected this Heal crit so it was like 3-4k : D

But the game is so much more fun when there is extremes on all classes. Everything is op or nothing is op. Quick Escape from Renown used to stack with Charge! as it should. It also stacked with Shaman Run Away! Tactic <3 And those stacked with odjira! RoR has removed SO MANY LAYERS OF UNIQUENESS and result is that its so bland and boring:(
