I have noticed it too yesterday in DW and TM order running around with 400 aao sucking up purple points while des has Two people there and it says vanguard and their 400 aao stays on for hours !!!

Since I have only seen it happen in favor of Order all week, I assume the devs pulled an "Office Space." They meant to do a small 3% aao change in favor of Order but added a few zeros

There are two Order warbands in Drakewake and no Destro warbands, yet we still face apathy. It seems the developers do not care, as they appear to favor Order. They claim a fix is in progress, but I find it hard to believe.

Appears to be fixed? At least I didn’t run into it playing for ~4 hours today. Nice job devs.

We call it the Gemstone Effect. That way when they pvdoor thru the night they can still get renown.
