Which destro dps class do you recommend?

Hi,
I've started playing yesterday and chose Choppa, gotten to lvl 13. I am thinking of trying out Chosen or Knight of the blazing sun.
I'm a bit not happy about leveling another char to only try it out. Can you tell me more about them or maybe some other classes that might intrest me?
I don't care if its melee or ranged dps. Higher solo survability would nice

Chosen is Great for all content and still fun to play vs knight so if you choose kotbs or chosen, def go chosen. Magus, Dps Dok, Witch Elf, Mara, Dps Shammy and Squig Herder there is so many good choices

Squig herder or dps shaman- if you are into kiting.
Solo melee- witch elf (can stealth, especially useful if you run into a group), 2h chosen (decent dmg, good survivability).
Defensive magus- ranged, good dmg and decent solo survivability, has aoe. Has to deal with a stationary pet, but you will get used to it.
If you want melee with a decent survivability and decent dmg+ aoe, marauder.

For some reason the guy in the vid from 2 weeks ago about choppa has tactic I'm Da Biggest on level 8 increasing his wounds by 160 while I have it on level 17 only increasing 68 wounds?? Can you explain?

Because those tactic screenshots not from game, it's from website, ignore lvl thing.

Okay, thanks for the tips btw. For now Im gonna try to lvl up the choppa. I'm at level 17 now so RVR is pretty hard now because of much higher levels and more pop.
I don't know if I can continue here or should I just make a new post but are there any good weapons that are better than the one sold like from a quest, PQ or DG? I would like to be as good as possible.
I'm gonna checkout forum for some guids because the vid is good but its mostly for ppl who have maxed out lvl.
Also do you know does the first passive from right tree works in combat? Im talking about the one with health regen.

Choppa is worst choice for new player because you need personal healer and personal tank to stay alive. Better play marauder for warbands and witch elf for solo.

Witch elf,Squig herder, Dps dok/wp, Dps shaman or any tank 2h are all great choices for solo
