Just to confirm what you're proposing here OP, are you saying that the crit tactics each tank class has should be consolidated into a single core tactic shared across all tanks, which would be +15% crit if wielding a great weapon?

Ok, obviously I need to address a few issues here.

First off, this post isn't about Chosen, it is about increasing damage output for ALL hybrid tanks. My proposal is that ALL TANKS should have an increased 15% chance to crit with a Great Weapon as a core ability. So those of you trying to say that I'm proposing a Chosen buff are just dead wrong, if anything buffing other tanks damage would be a bit of a nerf (although it would be offset by freeing up that tactic slot). Nice straw man arguments, tho.

Second item -

In wb you dont really need opressing blows, but you do need rugged and maybe the -10 ctbc.

And no, it should not be core.
2h chosen is atm still the best 2h tank and making it core will make it even more stronger and we dont need that.

Why are you so concerned about how it would affect Warband play? Most organized Warbands don't want hybrid tanks, they only want Sword and Board punt/guard robots. And just to to reiterate for those with low reading comprehension, THIS IS NOT ABOUT JUST CHOSEN. It is about giving tank hybrids equal potential to other hybrid classes.


Finally, regarding Chosen tactics (even though it has nothing to do with the actual proposal)

The only tactic that you are forced to use is Hastened Dismissal, strange how you could forget about it.

Almost like this is all about some "epic" solo build.

Hastened Dismissal is a preferred tactic ONLY when playing a Sword and Board tank in an organized Warband/6 man. The last thing you want to do as a DPS hybrid is knock an opponent away where you can't perform your main job as a DPS, which is to kill them. If you are playing this way as a 2H DPS, you're doing it wrong.

Hopefully this addresses some of the concerns, but I expect someone will come along shortly to disabuse me of that idea.

I Think he means that when using 2h as tank your channel is Magic dmg and you have 15% Crit. Or that this same effect is core tactic for all 2h tanks.

Well his asking it for all tanks 2h core, not just chosen. Daemonclaw needs to go and Original Runefang+Mighty Soul needs to come back with Criplling Strikes.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Chosen DPS. I suggest you go back and re-read everything. If you still don't get it then, perhaps you might enroll a remedial english reading class.

I doubt they'd ever bring back Crippling Strikes, but that would be nice tho...
