Level 2: 3 minute maturity time, 10 silver upkeep. Also allows members of the claiming guild's alliance to deploy oil.
Requires guild rank 20.
this is to remove random xrealmers spam oil to broke attack/defense of siege?
Yes. In many cases, bad oils are also just the result of players being greedy, but the end result is the same as either effectively throws away an important counter for outnumbered defenders to use.

Now, a guild or alliance committing to a defense can properly ensure they use the oil at the best time to protect the keep. And in cases where they may be funneling a gate or doorway, for example, they can also grant permissions to a non-guildie or alliance member that they trust to head up and place the oil when called for.

For anyone also wondering about what has changed between the [PTS] Patch Notes 28/02/2025 (after the PTS Update 1), here are all the differences:
  • Zealot and Runepriest:
    • The proposed Ritual/Master Rune changes were removed (as explained in the patch notes)
    • Zealot lost the Ritual adjacent Waves of Chaos buff:
Waves of Chaos - Damage now ticks every 2 seconds (previously every 3 seconds), so a total of 6 ticks over 10 seconds.
  • DOK and Warrior Priest:
    • On the PTS patch, Terrifying Vision/Repent had this restriction:
Terrifying Vision/Repent - Can no longer affect targets within 25 feet.
This restriction didn't make it in the actual patch
    • On the PTS Patch, the new left tree 5 point abilities Soul Energy/Word of Wisdom had this effect:
Soul Energy/Word of Wisdom - Increase your healing of abilities that require Righteous Fury by 25% for 10 seconds.
On the actual patch, their effects become
Soul Energy/Word of Wisdom - Over the next 10 seconds, direct heals will heal their target for an additional 225 health. This effect will not trigger more than once every 1.5 seconds.
    • On the PTS patch, WP's Hammer of Sigmar was 9p Path of Wrath ability and Divine Impact was a core ability in that tree.
On the actual patch, Divine Impact becomes the 9p Path of Wrath ability and Hammer of Sigmar becomes a core ability in that tree.
    • On the PTS patch, DOK's Lacerate and WP's Absence of Faith had this change to them:
Lacerate/Absence of Faith - AP cost reduced from 30/25 to 0. Now requires 30 Soul Essence/Righteous Fury.
This change didn't make it in the actual patch for either of them
  • Shaman and Archmage:
    • No changes between the PTS Update 1 and the actual Patch notes

DD Shaman become even weaker.
New mechanic don't even close feels rewarding.

I was so hoping for something fresh, but I totally dislike what my Shaman become after patch

Nah Shaman now, seems its time to level up something that do not require efforts, probably pick WL or SW

Logged on random AM, EoV heals for 25% less than tooltip (hit a rat and it only heals for 850ish?), hit the rat for 252 damage and heal from damage is only 85 (not 50% of 252).

And the crit rate for EoV heal is now tied to offensive crit not healing?

I don't even know what it healed for before, 1400ish? Plus it would crit to 2k. But it's not worth using whatsoever anymore.

And AM/Sham need some kind of Rune of Breaking toggle that lets the mechanic not dump all 5 points/disable the 5 point instant bonus. God forbid you cast 5 hots/dots and not 4 and then your sustained group heals lose their 25% cast bonus for a single instant one?

Apply 3 dots then kite with slow, 3 detaunts, knockback, self heals and M1. That's the real hard gameplay

Lol hybrid spec, thanks for the laugh.

Logged on another AM with much higher Int, EoV heals for 763 and the damage (370) only heals for 75.

So much hybrid! It's trash for both high int and wp specs.
