restricted to play certain side

Being a new player and wanting to try the "other side" and then thinking I do not like whatever this is about... Now i gotta wait 79 minutes! DAAM I didnt forsee this coming, absolutely gutted lol.

Is this restriction from the second i logout from either side? As i do want to play atm but dont want to risk further time awaiting the opposite side.

The lock happens when you *flag for rvr* for a different realm to the one you last were flagged for for the first time.

So, if I'm on order, and I've been playing in RvR, then I hop onto a destro character and go do some RvR, I'll get locked to destro for a while. Once that time is up, I can keep playing destro as long as I want - it won't affect the lock. Only when I then go back to order and do some RvR will I be locked again - this time to order.

PvE doesn't lock you out, so you can briefly hop onto the other realm for PvE without restriction - just be careful to not accidentally get yourself flagged.

Scenarios are the instanced PvP, you hit the icon near ur map, you queue for a PvP match, pop up will tell you it's ready and you enter a match. Can be 6v6 , 10v10 or whatever.

Iirc, its not flagged for RVR but gathering any kind of contribution in the lakes (basically earning rewnown) that locks you on one side, if you were previously on the other.

And regarding SCs - if you ever played world of warcraft: They are battlegrounds.
