Re: Vulcan guide?
I tried the method and files from that site. Personally, on my weak laptop, the volcano gives 10-20 fps more, but unfortunately the delay is very noticeable and it is uncomfortable to play.DevanShell wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 11:37 am https://thewarcamp.com/guides/improve-game-visuals/

Re: Vulcan guide?
Vulkan shouldnt give you any delays by itself.
Did you use the any kind of Reshade? Any FPS Generation Software active in the Background?
Hazmy posted a Video Guide called Warhammer Online FPS & Performance Guide, maybe there you can find a better Solution. As usual Hazmys Videos are on point.
The Gist of it is the same as on warcamp.
Warhammer Online is poorly optimized and hugely benefits from a good single-core CPU. Maybe thats why your Laptop struggles with Vulkan.

Re: Vulcan guide?
I have a ryzen 9 9700x and an rtx 5080, using win 11 as host system.
When i use dxvk i get horrible stutter ingame. Dx9 runs way better. Does anyone have an idea?

Re: Vulcan guide?
What version DXVK used?
Need async version:
https://gitlab.com/Ph42oN/dxvk-gplasync ... type=heads
Very important right configuration file in game directory like this:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EAF1m8 ... sp=sharing
My dxvk.conf:
WAR-64.exe - for experimental, WAR.exe - for stable setting in launcher.[RoRLauncher.exe]
dxvk.maxChunkSize = 1
d3d9.shaderModel = 1
[WAR-64.exe]
d3d9.maxAvailableMemory = 4096
d3d9.samplerAnisotropy = 16
d3d9.forceSwapchainMSAA = 4
dxvk.enableAsync=true
If use Vulkan version of Reshade, need delete string:
d3d9.forceSwapchainMSAA = 4

Re: Vulcan guide?
This is an issue I've only started having after updating to the latest NVIDIA drivers.saupreusse wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 9:27 amI forgot the config file, but now my ror launcher wont even startmrSVS wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 1:00 pmWhat version DXVK used?

Re: Vulcan guide?
I think they all use the same files. In the configuration I tried to remove anti-aliasing to reduce the load, but it does not remove the stuttering. In general, with the same settings, the DX version runs smoother than Vulcano. And I see in this topic that it is not only me.
As a bonus, I can recommend the smoothest video driver Nvidia ( 566.45 ) relative to ROR, as it has been tested with over 15 of the most recommended profile lances. It works very smoothly and has good performance.

In the driver settings, there are several other important conditions for smooth operation. It is recommended to disable vertical synchronization, set the power section to performance and set ultra in the low latency mode section.
