Scenarios just don't make sense anymore

Really don't care about the whole realm bias debate, if you have a balanced group with semi reasonable players, you will win most of your games regardless of which side you are on. If one realm is getting those better compositions and winning the vast majority of matches, that's on the players. It's nothing the devs can fix.


The general state of scs is the bigger issue, it's no wonder people aren't very invested in making an effort to make groups and do the event scs when the pinnacle of gameplay available in said scs is to all jump in a little 5x5 pit and stay there until the timer runs out.

Just allow cross realm que. At least there would be fights and new things to try. Would be great to see how people react when they que with 6man premade and another 4 man premade + 2 randoms. Other side has 5 man premade and 7 randoms. Sc would automatically take second tank from 4 man premade to make both sides have one 2x2x2 Party. And the rest is sorted having at least 1 tank 1 pure heal in party.

Cross Realm queue is an abomination for this game that never should have happened in the first place for Ranked.
It might make sense in other games and MMORPGs, but not in Warhammer, to have Greenskin and Dwarves fighting alongside etc. - it is already a disgrace to the IP that it is in the game in any form.

There are ways to make the Scenario Matchmaker work, it is just 100% neglected by the Team currently.

For all that scenarios need better matchmaking, pug vs pug, premade vs premade ...
Destro really suck at times. No one uses swift assist. and when they do the main assist does not know to find the soft target.

Hard disagree.

It was acually the best change that was made to ranked. People could not stack anymore on one side and therefore more balanced matches were created of a result of it. Myself and many others could not care about fighting the same faction as long as it makes games more balanced which it did.

I wish they would do the same for normal scenarios but unfortunately there are many boomers playing this game who would not like that because of "lore".
It would make pops way faster and you could even make a decent matchmaker out of it (2/2/2 i.e.) because the matchmaker would have way more players to select from.

Keep that cross realm qing in meme ranked mode, its basically a pug solo q at this point.

Edit: And to reiterate why it is memey, used to play it at release and saw the problem instantly. One side waited until they had the players they liked to play with before even daring to queue for ranked sc or their egos might be in shambles afterwads. Hence queues in that were extremely lop sided at certain times which made it sense to be mixed to even get pops ever. Plus the population of it is like 20 guys in some discord.

we don't have numbers to make better matchmaking with quick queues
most of us played the game for more than 10y already so who give a **** about immersive scenarios. we stayed for the pvp.
what's sad is how mouse clicking casuals/boomers would rather keep making whining thread and complain about their poor solo queue experience for the sake of the "lore".
