We can take another dps competition now after these zealot buffs :) Zeal + Magus duo is likely very deadly atm. I'm actually quite curious if im able to pull more burst than you.

Well, best i got was 9kish with crit magus. We can race, but i want to renegociate the terms. Not gonna delete it anymore.

Ye 9k seems a bit too much to beat but I believe I can get close to that with talon. I think ill be able to pull 8k+ :)

It might be doable tbh. There are quite a few specs I've yet to test on zeal but I cant say for sure since I dont play magus myself. (I might in the future since the class seems fun) :)

1.2k+1k dot ticks, followed by 1.6k disarm, 3.4k bolt of change, into 2.3k mutating, followed by 2.2k indigo channel ticks.

This doesnt include all the pet damage ethier.

Besides the 3.4k bolt of change those numbers don't seem unreachable. Can you get that off when bursting? 3s cast time seems rather long

Ah right that makes sense, I'm still overall happy with my 9k 3s burst. I have no idea how much maguses are able to pull. I could probably stretch my dmg a little bit still by going with 0 fs but I did this with my normal roaming spec :)

I gotta try that closequarter magus burst someday. Crit dmg to flickering and surging fires and yolo to meleerange. Still 1s cast to almost everything but can hit quite a bit.
