rvr is not only about killing though. its about going after objectives together.

rewards must be balanced so defending an objective is as rewarding as taking one, then it will play out for itself.

i like the idea of rewards taged to the number of defenders/attackers in a ratio or something like that. the heavier the fighting the more rewards should it give for attacking and defending.

on the other hand: Shouldnt a clever campaign with luring the defenders to one point and then attacking a non defended other point on the battlefield be rewarded too?

then someday we will get locking of tiers too. another interesting balance act incoming.

Why? Taking a (defended) keep is much harder than defending it.

or a sieged city who dosen´t fight back and is really hard to get it like Carthage or Troy

This is not real life, this is a video game and currently defending a keep is much easier than attacking a defended keep.

If both rewards are the same, people will just sit at their respective keeps waiting for the other side to attack. If you want people to attack each other, then the rewards for taking the enemy keep should be much better.

I like the current d-ticks. It is ok to gain renown from a keep defense. But if you want bags, go take the enemy keep.

Drops from kills scale with number and both attackers and defenders. If you defend well you get more rewards and if you are successful in killing the defenders you are also rewarded

You get renown possibly a keep to defend and the warm feeling that comes from messing up their plan

All will join the zerg and make it even more zergy as we have no account realm timer. Guessing ppl will start xrealming for bags if they are added

You have no idea how RoR works. While maybe bad players will do this, i constantly see the best players in the server switching to the underdog trying to balance the game and making it fun for both sides.

Fact: The best players will always prefer fighting the zerg instead of joining it.
