rSH how to deal with WL?

Why care about a hdbuff in solo

First, its a pretty good DoT, even if you don't care about about the heal debuff

Second, if you wanna kill a healer, its pretty much required....and theres a ton of AMs out there roaming

Third, just because im solo, doesn't mean all my fights are 1v1. In fact, hardly any of them are. Its far more common to either be blob surfing, or to just start/join in small scale fights. In such circumstances, there's nearly always a healer involved, so the heal debuff is excellent.

Just switched my BIS mSH to ranged for the first time. Doing ok as I learn the abilities, etc. but having a rough time with WLs solo. Any pointers?

Running 13/0/11 (Teef'z build).

Running the Detaunt tactic and even detaunting the WL in the air (not sure if that stacks with the tactic) but as soon as I land I am basically dead. The pet is too fast so I get yanked 100% of the time. I've slotted Focused Mind and Concealment but outside of that for the pull I get murdered by pounce, Cull the Weak, etc.

Just look at an encounter he has on the killboard and then his gear, which will help you figure it out.

4th tactic probably varies.

I ran the Red Arrow instead of Shrapnal for a bit but I like Shrapnal better. That range reduction is very nice.

I just confirmed the WL Pet can both Dodge and Parry my 'Drop That' disarm. Giving up on fighting them as that class is so over tuned with subtle tweaks like casting the pet on the run, insta pull with a long range, etc.

I'll just wait for the DPS patch to see if any of it's addressed.
