Assault SW solo

Nice to see you roaming as Assault. I've always loved this spec, even after all the nerfs, so it's good to see another player representing it.

I really like assault as a spec, I ofcourse have tons to learn still but thats the fun of it for me.

I kinda wish asw would either get a snare or a movement speed buff added to shadowstep.

I saw that off sov has a snare proc on it, but dropping that many stats just to get a snare doesnt seem that great to me.. but who knows, maybe once I get my ranked jewel and sov pieces I try to go for the full off sov to test the snare :)

I'll admit my comment partially comes from having a bit too much to drink and while trying to watch this video my head was bobbing to every jump and it was making me a bit nauseous but it is really hard to watch any video with the jumping. When order toons jump like this I can only think of the exploiters trying to bug the mara pull.

I understand, as I mentioned its just part of my playstyle at this point due to years of muscle memory and keybinds so it is what it is.

I have no real reason to try and exploit anything and yeah I do remember cursing when you could stop mara pull with jumping xD

Nice video! Switft Strikes used to have 50% Speed buff on it, should be added back but only with assault stance. Yeah dropping that many stats for snare is bs, and this is why Procs are always the answer. Add Boost V/Snare proc/Speed proc/700-800 Armour buff/Debuff/7-8% Strikethrough proc/7-8% Avoidance proc/Ap proc and 25% HD proc to every class! And on rr38 wpns/Tier 4 Epic quest wpns. Not 7pc sovereign for something like snare? lol

Some spesific buffs like Taunt proc on Wpns to tanks. Bewildering proc for dps rp/dps zeal/Engi/Magus
Bewildering - On hit: 10% chance to increase cast times by 05s for 7 seconds,Works on melee and Ranged attacks.

I was really hoping to have a snare proc on weapon but I couldn't find any :(

I'm not sure if the speed proc would be good to have on swift strikes. I'd rather have it on shadowstep and maybe the extra defensives could be removed from it as a trade off. I also wish the travel time would be faster.

I'm not really sure why asw doesn't have a snare since all the other counterparts do have a snare, maybe its because sw has ranged snare but it being on rather long cd and tied to range kd I'd prefer to have some snare with 10s tied to assault stance.

Ignore the naysayers. It takes guts to solo roam on an off-meta spec especially at lower RR.

Thanks for the kind words, I had (for the most part) quite alot of fun lvling asw.

I think what made it a bit harder for me was the fact that magus counters asw quite hard and magus atm is quite booming class so yeah I think Papik alone killed me like 15x in 1 day of roaming haha

Yes, Magus is strong against most solo specs. Has been like that for a few years I believe. I'm eager to see if a bis aSW can win the DPS race against them. Maybe it might just boil down to who gets lucky with the crits.

I am quite tricker heavy with hot pots because I know how hard some classes can burst. On my sh video I used hot pot at like 90% hp when facing sw myself just because I know they can basically kill me in kd with lucky crits.

My builds tend to be quite glass cannon baseline so I need to counter the lack of defenses with pots :/

I'm sure bis asw can burst magus but I also don't think that's the factor in who wins. I think I could already burst magus down with my current gear but its a matter of getting the jump on magus..

Unless.. my kd gets parried by the magus! XD that happens way too often ngl where a magus just parries my kd..

Personally I'm not the biggest fan of the way defensives work nowadays but oh well. I've lost few fights because a caster parries my kd
