Re: WH v WE
Toughness regen is an abomination of ease, made for those who don’t have the guts to struggle for their victories. Such a shame that builds like this are even possible

Re: WH v WE
Since LV set now offers an absorb proc for WE/WH (FACEPALM, really, devs?!) you can actually do that almost from get go (assuming you actually can do LV - not that hard for a decent player with a few good friends.

Re: WH v WE
Soon we will see builds with 3 shields - Sacrifices Rewarded, Enveloping Shadows and proc from LV set.
But truth to be told WHs can have it too.
There are lots of complaints about WB being op compared to WH but many WHs just ignore Exit Wound or do not play it right. And EW is a very powerful tool

Re: WH v WE
People don't ignore exit wound, the WH tree rather forces us to put points into both left and right trees to get essential abilities and tactics and middle tree builds are less viable because you have to sacrifice something essential to pump it.abezverkhiy wrote: Sun Aug 10, 2025 12:34 am Soon we will see builds with 3 shields - Sacrifices Rewarded, Enveloping Shadows and proc from LV set.

Middle tree has two things that are nice but not needed (heal debuff and exit wound), while between left and right you have essential abilities like your only gap closer, your magic immunity, knockdown, repel blasphemy and the crit damage tactic. So almost all viable builds take these, then you don't have points left over for middle tree.
So the reason everyone is either dragon gun or BAL is because you can get all of these with either build. But you can't with exit wound.
Re: WH v WE
The sov 7 bonus shud not be the +7% party crit for welf wh. They are assasins. it should be the 10% for 18% crit dmg and 9% crit
Re: WH v WE
WE all day require no skill pretty much compare to WH are much harder to play.
Re: WH v WE
?? As far as offensive spec WE/WH go the WH is way easier with RB and M1. Defensive I don't know about so much but with the change of WB being based on STR full regen/bubble WE does no real damage.yoluigi wrote: Sun Aug 10, 2025 4:47 pm WE all day require no skill pretty much compare to WH are much harder to play.

Re: WH v WE
It definitely does enough damage to get solo kills when no healer is around (which is easy when you have stealth to choose your fights), and does by far the most damage of any defensive spec in the game while also regenning. It's completely oppressive to the point that it ruins the solo capacity of most Order classes because none of them should ever beat a regen WE, and regen WE is like 70% of destro solos so you are guaranteed to run into them if you're solo or duo/trio roaming. Just because WB scales with str now does not mean it doesn't do significant dmg, because it's still magical damage which means you do not need to build any armorpen and can go full defensive with talis and gear.Endari wrote: Sun Aug 10, 2025 11:23 pm?? The vast majority of people who crutch on regen WE would be free kills if they had to play DPS WE (or WH for that matter). I've played against plenty of these players and when they spec DPS they might as well be a renown loot box, but when they spec regen it's pointless to even try to fight them. The difference is stark.
Re: WH v WE
Most solo's are regen anyway so I simply don't care if they want to poke each other with wet noodles all day. You can easily run from a full def/bubble/regen we, but yes regen gear needs to be removed and for the love of all no more absorbs on gear! wtf is with a new near bis set with another absorb proc?Faction69 wrote: Mon Aug 11, 2025 12:09 amIt definitely does enough damage to get solo kills when no healer is around (which is easy when you have stealth to choose your fights), and does by far the most damage of any defensive spec in the game while also regenning.
