There is no game or class specific benefit attached to either realm, and you can switch between the two as you please. High Elves are a good choice. The server needs more White Lions.

Nice. I played DAoC too and this game. (Midgard for life!!! Dem Hibbies think dey strong; Dem HIbbies DEH BE WRONG!!!)

RoR is very fun but very hard. Addicting but can be very frustrating if you don't know details and are not prepared for the mid tier grind. I recommend a deep dive into guides and how-tos on youtube. Find a guild as soon as you can to help make the leveling process easier but research the guild you want to join VERY thoroughly.

My biggest complaint about the game is transitioning from new player to end game. Tier 1 is fun and Tier 4 is fun but leveling to Tier 4 is NOT fun. I have complained about it so many times but its obvious that its not a priority so I stopped. Mid tier is rough and is where most players quit. Boosted levels are not enough and Even your mounts aren't fast enough. Hard to keep up with warbands carrying you and can't get away from tryhards running you down to farm you for crests and RR. Highly recommend joining a guild that plays when you play and has enough members to help carry you. Get as many Renown Rank pots and items (i.e. Book of Boom) as you can to help you get your RR high enough. Capturing flags give you a temporary boost to exp as well. Everything is determined by Renown Rank. It's more important than your Character Rank.

Order NEEDS tanks as order is mostly ranged and Destro NEEDS healers as destro is mostly melee.
