Any Update on the DPS Patch?

Is there any news on when we can expect the DPS patch and maybe a fix for the terrible condition that Slayer is in?

Also, if you could fix scenarios constantly putting pugs against premades, that would be some major progress.

Indeed, if there are any updates regarding the rework of DPS, I’m definitely interested, especially for the Slayer. Mine is gathering dust in the basement and won’t be coming out anytime soon given the current state of the class.

Devs can remove "jump" from WL and give it to Slayer. And reduce WL AOE damage.
We will have then two ballanced classes.

Just not sure what you mean about SL?
The class is well balanced just like choppa.
It's just that most SL/choppas switched to wl/mara because they are simply too strong and SL/choppa got their due and successful rework.
Wait until wl gets a nerf and the SL population increases.

I have been seeing more SL lately - would guess (conspiracy) that some have a preview of what's coming =)

Beyond the WL issue of easier + more damage than a Slayer, it's the Slayer mechanic of reduction in mitigation that is a detriment to the class. I would simply remove the tactic that gives Slayer/Choppa +HP every 4 seconds and include that in the mechanic depending on health + mechanic ratio. Adjust as necessary. Not rocket science to balance them.

Since dps archetype consist more classes that the healer and tank ones i would guess an year or even 2.
I am wondering if they will separate and balance first melee then range (or vice versa) or do all of them altogether

Another difference between Slayer and Choppa is that when a Choppa uses the "Furious Stompin’" ability, if he gets punted by a tank, Furious Stompin’ becomes useless.

On the Headbuff addon, the moment Morale 2 and Furious Stompin’ show up, you’re already getting punted.

With Slayer, that’s not the case. "Inevitable Doom" is an AOE build tree ability, and it’s more effective than Choppa’s ST build abilities. Since Slayer plays in the AOE build tree, he automatically has surplus points, which makes the "Retribution" ability naturally high as well, adding extra damage output.
