Can city leavers get insted of a 30 min quiter like a 2 hours one?
its not gona solve the problem entirely, but maybe people give at least more try before quiting.
i had a long week, not much time to play, was antipacting the city, got in with a solid 6man, destru got 4 6men party, and 1 of em quit before even try 1 fight. Ruining the rest of the people fun.
Since it become 18 vs 24, than more people left, some stayed and hide and wait out the the pve door to get the pity rewards.
What a fun content!
Some people hate it, some just not intreasted, but some people do enjoy good city fights.
its not an multiple occasion on every day event, think its a reasonable consideration to get some way of extra pressure to not give it up so easyily
or any other solution that helps this, would be nice.

So we were in that City and the info we got is that a person disconnected, and so they couldn't rejoin the City and play with his group - so the entire group left understandably.
This happens almost every week and it is a real problem that needs some kind of a solution. I'd personally love if there was a reconnect feature or you wouldn't be kicked out of Cities just because of a disconnect that can happen very easily, not just due to internet, but the game crashing on loading screen.

There is core problem of this game. No kills = no progression. It's hard to blame people who don't want to be punch bags for 40 min straight.

Something has to be not right with people who wanna play 40+ min as running rp donators with 0 kills in unfair cities/scs and refuse to quit/leave, even open a forum post. Im not attacking you, but sadly way to many times there is not a single reason to play a SC or City and people still refuse to quit, just rush out die realease and rush out again.

The problem is the matchmaking and what ur rewards if u fight, you get like nothing for loosing, esp if its just a one sided stomp. Very motivating for those players.

2 hours lockout wont stop ppl from leaving. It will end in 2 ways. You leave city and log off so less ppl online or you leave city and scene mode got even smaller queu cos ppl are locked and go orvr.

Is it engaging?
Hell no! But city is rarely a good experience, everyone wants a good fight and even in organised 24v24 cities it is rarely even(altough more balanced than a pure stomp)

Some of these issues with cities are the same issues that plague scenarios. The difference is that scenarios are short and more convenient so people are willing to suffer through some premade stomping nonsense for the occasional fun and rewarding fights.

2. There was 0 fights and people gave up. Noone was a punching bag for any minute. actually some said enemy had 12 man bomb and we had 4 st party if people play good, 4 st party can easily beat that comp, u just avoid enemy deathball and fold thier backline faster than they can recover.

as i know u could rejoin city after a dc, thats what i rember, which is, i can rember bad or it was implemented than disabled for some reaosn.
but aggree that there should be a solution for that.
