WL in RoR have 25 armor pen to Whirling axe and tearing blade with the hack and slash tactic , while live WL didnt have 25% added armor pen to whirling axe and tearing blade, so yes it can be considered op because higher armor pen, and you can burst in middle of blobs and stuff.

Having these overly emotional threads on the highly subjective issue of class balance is completely fruitless. Not a single thread like this will make people on the other side of the fence suddenly see "your" truth.

The only people who you could possibly hope to influence in order to change anything are the people working on class balance and experience has shown that these people have their own formed opinions and will not by swayed by dramatic complaint posts.
We all have to wait what the balance pass will bring and then live with that for the forseeable future.

There's no need for that; it's just a topic from a player who owns and plays the class. I'm bringing something up based on my experience playing a Whit Lion BIS. Your type of discourse only demonstrates the fragility of a community accustomed to receiving balances that are almost never requested by the community, and I understand, but I find your position as useless as the post you're referring to. However, it's my opinion, and you have the right to express yours as you see fit.

WL's only real fault is that it's not in its proper spot—it's capable of doing strong AoE while also having very good st —which was the spot of a SL and a BW. WL also suddenly turned into a character capable of killing everything from squish targets to tanks, even though it was also a SL spot and a BW for the Order, all of it AoE, even though in terms of damage output, it's basically a st class conceptually. And all of this can be done in a single build. Previously, if they wanted to effectively kill something tankier than WE, they had to take Linehart tactic and SM with Whispering Wind, which is pretty much a sacrifice in terms of both utility and setup. Now its gone. WL kills squish targets but struggles with non-soft targets in their standart builds - that was the deal. The last point of weakness was simply removed, while not forgetting to take away the opportunity to quite effectively kill targets tankier than a WE and st + aoe from SL(no one has been worried about BW outside of the WB for a long time now). But "Shift meta" - this situation is result of this, not balancing. I like this trolling people by devs, who constantly wanted "Shift Meta" in the past as a man, but not like player, because as a result, we received an extremely destabilized system of class relationships among DPS. Be careful what you wish for.
Total: the main fault is the extremely effective AoE, regardless of the type of target. If anything, this AoE also takes a big place in small scale. Thats the only really fault of wl. Otherwise, it's a relatively normal class (insanely strong tanks, insanely strong healers, well, almost all healers - there should be at least strong DPS).

WL is a big pain for rdps and healers? It's sad for me to tell you this, but thats normal - thats how this class was designed and implemented. Thats not his fault.
WL has so many good setups, because it has strong utilitys like mobility, cc, armordebuff? And its have medium armor. Thats normal - thats how this class was designed and implemented. No one can effective stop this? This is a payback - there was no need to trample the mage dps into the dirt. Aslo not wl's fault.
WL is everywhere? There is not a WL's fault that the order is something like "wl and his scuffed dps friends" - "Shift meta".

It's also interesting to see how things will look after the DPS rework - we have a good tank rework, a healer rework between average and good (closer to good), and it may turn out that the current WL is a completely normal class that will also need to be buffed.
