Sorry but pve stuff is the last needed thing ingame right now.
SC dead, city dead, ranked dead, rvr is one huge blob simulator espesially in dead hours when blob just taking empty keeps and siting into warcamps blobing pugs with 5 to 1 ratio. Class balance still in mess and no info on dps patch at all. Everyday we pray for something to change but all we see is pve updates. At this point PVP need help and asap, not pve. Comunity changed im really bad way. Tnx to constant depression people who focused on quality pvp log less and less, and casual part of it know only way of stomp in any corner of game.

Pls atleast fix sc. Normal matchmaking and no more 3vs4 in discordant. Im not even asking to get rid of prems at this point. All your pve stuff have zero sense if main part of game just rot.

Truly an outstanding job and fantastic responsiveness! So, great congratulations. However, I agree with most of the comments about PvP , it’s really struggling across all aspects. Do we have a date, even an approximate one, for the DPS patch?

As is tradition, let's respond to some questions / comments! Will try to focus on PvE-focused comments but want to touch on a couple non-PvE questions first as I'm sure others are wondering about them:

wonshot wrote: Fri Nov 14, 2025 5:36 am So many fantastic idea and QoL in here, where the Devs are not just in touch and listening to feedback but also showing they are players themselves.
PLEASE assist the RvR team!

Saw a few comments like this (and I see Nath already responded hinting at what is being worked on!) but yes, you'll see and hear some more from the RvR team soon. As we're a volunteer project, much of our progress is also a combination of both talent and free time available, so if you know anyone with C# skills who is interested and can work as part of a team, we definitely encourage them to apply.

There's good progress on this front. We've done two Public Tests now for the new SC Matchmaking System that Max is working on, with the last one just this past weekend. If you or your friends are able to help, more bodies are always welcomed, and we'll be moving into the third test on PTS in the next couple of weeks, with a planned one-day test on the Live server not long after, if all goes well. Max has prioritized this as one of, if not the most important task on his side currently.

We post all the updates for this on the official RoR Discord in the PTS channel, so please keep an eye on it for the next testing window soon. We always appreciate the help so we can get this ready to roll out to the live server soon!

Helwer wrote: Fri Nov 14, 2025 9:02 am Thanks! Sounds good and you heard us. Hope to find a beginner dungeon. :-) Cheers and happy weekdend.

Hope you'll like it with the new adjustments. I'd rank it a little ways above Beginner, but still simple enough that new groups or guilds can easily figure it out and not get hard-stuck on any mechanics if they're at least putting in the effort. Once the T3 Dungeon is added, we'll have a gradual build-up where we teach new players mechanics as early as Dragonback Pass, then slightly more complex in the T3 Dungeon, and then finally they get to Gunbad and it grows slightly in difficulty all the way up to Lost Vale. That's the goal, at least!

Lets hope that Solo que'ers wont end up against premades. Good to hear there is going to be T3 Dungeon! Make it 27-32 lvl and go wild with the stats and bonuses! Make red eye 33-36lvl exclude GB from "must do " to get sentinel gear. add the cloak back with new bonus and everyone will be more than happy, espesially if its something really strong.

imo Set bonuses, espesially last should be Very strong like they used to be in T4 epic wpns(add them back!!) like Taunt+Avoidance Procs in one 2hwpn.
Or Boost V Proc in both 1-2handers in T4 epic quest wpns along with procs like

Wh/We had 10% On hit to Snare enemy for 40% 5seconds. or Dps Wp/Dok Imperator had 25% off Rend Soul Cooldown = 2.5-3s off from it, being VERY good Melee Healers,It will help Dps Specs alot as well but they have better skills to use if they have health. rr 38 Rvr Influence Wpn Procs had Boost V as well + those wpns had 3% to 6% Crit originally but in Ror 1-2% only
Boost VI in darkpromise works, make lesser versions of them like Iv-V and add those procs on wpns for all classes. Make healing versions of same crit procs as well.

Make new + Strikethrough procs(Original Onslaught/Imperator had + 8avoidances or +8avoidances strikethru, and avoidances stacked with things like Vanquisher tnak procs for example. and remove the added 10% 2h Parry strikethru from all except WP. Obvious Melee Healer reasons. Like in Live.

Thanks Rubius for continuing to refine the dungeon experience and add hard mode for more experienced/geared groups! After killing the last secret boss in LV, I've been looking forward to seeing what new challenging PvE content would be added next. Appreciate the hard work, consistent comms, and back-and-forth community engagement.

Also appreciate you and Natherul providing some insights on upcoming SC and RvR changes and the nuances involved in making them come to fruition.

It's good to see you guys are working to make gunbad better, I hope it can get as good as BB and Crypts became. Unfortunately, as Year approaches to it's end, my job requires more time from me, wich doesn't allow me to try any dungeon atm. But as soon as January arrives I'll be trying GB again.

please fix pvp and core game systems. at the very least stop making existing systems like dungeons more of a chore for no purpose other than to say "hey, we made this thing we like but you probably don't want or didn't ask for".

for more context; i am an avid pve player across multiple mmos over a span of 2 decades and usually love endgame pve. i have multiple hall of fame mythic clears in WoW, ultimate clears in ff14, many world top 1-5 kills in WoW/Rift, etc. i have also worked on pve dungeons, raids and boss encounters via private invite alpha and testing feedback direct from the devs on projects mentioned above, and many others. i've also worked officially on 3 different popular games as a designer (both pve and pvp). therefore i feel like i have a decent understanding of what makes for good pve in mmos. that said, RoR is the only mmo where i actively dislike and try to avoid the pve as much as possible. which is fine, after all the main appeal of this game is supposed to be largescale, open world pvp. we've confirmed the main appeal yet we are continuing to push the pve agenda, all while pvp is left in horrible disrepair, even so much as making it nigh-mandatory for those who want to be competitive in pvp. why is this the case?

while lost vale was a step in the right direction in many regards (besides the horrendously overpowered or blatantly useless gear, such as the secret boss ring which instantly became pvp bis or many weapons which are completely useless respectively). it was fresh, new and exciting to see something completely new come to the game for the first time (first time for RoR, i know it was a dungeon on live). great cosmetic rewards and decent fight designs besides the bugs and janky mechanical overlaps. it came with great trailers, voice acted npcs and boss encounters, unique dialogue, new features like hardmodes, etc.

we are continually seeing a painful lack of care towards pvp and the state of the game has made many of my friends and guildmates, as well as many other prominent guilds and players, discontinue playing and move to other games. now we look at GB rework for the 5th time and a WL's continued existence for over a year and it begins to feel like 5 steps forward and 10 steps back.

already so many misplaced and unnecessary changes in the past 2-3 years have caused a mass exodus of "veterans" and passionate, long term players. scheduled city (which created death of campaign and pinnacle pvp content), unified currency, pve reworks, imbalanced classes left untouched for 1-2+ years, ability rework fallout, removal of proper SC/ranked rewards, strikethrough change, the list goes on and on. the game is unrecognizable from the original state it was created in, most original game systems made by actual game design professionals at mythic are either lost or mangled beyond repair. there is a common phrase "if it isn't broke, don't fix it". more problems have originated from many of these "fixes" than benefits in the long term.

the choice to focus on casual-ifying the game has backfired tremendously, to the point where even those who were targeted to benefit from past changes are not finding enjoyment in the long term. it has just turned in to a pug/blob simulator hellscape which is largely devoid of skill and effort, where neither the casuals you seek so much to support nor the seasoned players who still cling to the game are having fun anymore.
