Black menu background

No graphics visible at all, only mouse, menu buttons, & windows. Music works normally. I seem to be able to select race/class during character creation, but only erratically, as I can't seem to actually select anything with the mouse by clicking where they OUGHT to be.
I've tried both torrent and mega versions, making sure both times to disable read-only on the folder. No error messages pop up. I've used both RoR launcher and feejwaks mini launcher. It doesn't make any difference.

I'm not going to download this a third time.

Was you a player from official? cos i saw strange things happen to me with tome due to old user folder. If you use and old client delete the user folder, also try a /stuck 2 times in row and see if something happen.
Also map tell you are in any zone?, if nothing change re downlaod the game maybe it help.

i have problem even crete character, i see only buttons like settings, cinematic etc. and if i try create character there is only title like order destruction and everthing is black you cannot even see charracters. btw yes i played game on offi server but this installation i downloaded from this site all 3 packs

The download with less folder have 5, are you sure you downloaded all the folders required?
Also warhammer online do not require a installation to work, but sometimes have not install it can give problem, so if you have the original cd you can give it a try.
First intall the original game then copy 1.4.8 client and delete the original war folder. Also somekind of problem can occur if some of the direct x 9.0 are not installed correctly or missing. ( they are inside war online cd rom).
You could also copy war folder into an usb and try if it work on another pc, that way you could understand if it's the folder or the pc.

The last try you can do it's re-download the whole thing if anything fail.

I had the same problem at the beginning and it was all related to DirectX9. Try to update its files.
