Hello all,
i was just wondering if its possible to turn off the character movement it does when you target something and he moves his body in the direction. myabe an addon or a setting.

Dont think so, but i think it's a neat little feature, why would you want it turned off?

Why ??
There is already problem with(facing cone of fire) desync because of ping from hell or bad hardware. That runs all competitivnes from RoR- what a point of being better if you dont know what happen whit you carracter.
Anyways it good idea to implement it for everyone- there will be no more hitting from back.
Imo- changes could be implemented to "cut sharp edges" in those problems- to walk around technical problems with good desighn.

I could be wrong but as far as i know the little autofacing feature (where your character looks in the direction of your target) is a purely cosmetic client feature and does not influence line of sight calculations. its only for cosmetic reasons and i just think it looks stupid when you constantly look in the same direction as a tank who follows his guard around the map

Autofacing is not a clue of a problem.
That would be another thing that would/could misslead player in decision making. That situation on the screen would/could be other/different then "calculations"
