I don't think so, players are biased as f***.
They often think class is underperforming, just because they are underperforming. Thus, lots of feedback is completly worthless.
So you’re saying that most of the people complaining about these changes are doing so just because they’re bad? That’s strange, because I recognize quite a few usernames I’ve faced here in solo or in 6-man, and many of them are very far from being bad. Not exactly a convincing argument.
Imagine same players were complaining when slayer was the best class in the game and serious guilds ran slayer stacks, you shouldn't take them seriously at all.
There can be some complaining just to complain and some protective of the class, but at this time I would say its legit. Its really in a bad state now. If one plays it often one can feel the diffrence for sure

its crystal clear to me that the devs of this server are real life elfs.
Only elfs and dark elfs classes have the right to have pretty things and fun.
The rest of races only get gutted skills and nerfs everywhere.....
Zasssca chosen Zaska Slayer
Minox squig herder Zaskito Engineer
Discoestu magus Zasquete ironbreaker
and more

What if real issue is different?
What if Slayer after changes isn't too weak, but WL is too good in comparison. While Choppa doesn't seem to suffer compared to Marauder.

NO cause anyone who plays Slayer/Choppa now or actually targets them see its the Xtra dmg taken for that class now thats the issue, no special skill or tactic nerf. Just the Xtra dmg taken from all sources that makes the class weakest its ever bin.

Its simple as that, a balance mistake. Hopefully something the adress.

Rest of the skill, tactic, rage changes is fine, they are trying stuff, wont work out but whatever. The Xtra dmg taken tho needs to be reverted.

Just remove the –25% debuff and the class will regain some appeal.
For now, it’s absolutely not competitive, no matter how it’s played or built.

SL and Choppa are very good.
It only needs a few changes, as I mentioned earlier.

SL ID - remove damage reduction on the main target.
SL/Choppa GFDSS/ SC - remove damage reduction.

I don't mind the 25% debuff on yellow.
But if the SL/Choppa community is pushing so hard, maybe it should be reconsidered.
Hurub Chopa 80+ / Wybrany Chosen 80+ / Mroczniak BG 70+ / Alubercik BO 70+ / Doczek DoK 80+ / Hurubek Zeal 80+ /
Misio Shaman 80+ / Maxra Mara 60+ / Alubertus RP 80+ / Alubert KTB 80+ / Mnich WP 80+ / Kregi SL 60+ / Uposledzonyjez IB 60+

Devs look at Fortress win/loss record since the patch, Order losing SL from its already thin frontline gimped the faction hard.

Like this week there needs to be a patch to remove the +25% dmg in yellow.
Brynnoth Goldenbeard (40/80) (IB) -- Rundin Fireheart (40/50) (RP) -- Ungrinn (40/40) (Engi)-- Bramm Bloodaxe (40/83) (Slayer) and a few Empire characters here or there, maybe even an elf.

p.s why slayer has for tactic lowed damage while wh/witch has similar tactic and no debuff?
-15% damage accuracy vs razor
"survival is the only option"

The real question is: why this -25% penalty?!
It makes the Sovereign defensive 5-piece bonus completely useless. It forces the Slayer to be ultra-reactive, which inevitably means paying less attention to what’s actually happening in the fight. It puts extra pressure on our healers and tanks, who now have to focus even more on keeping the Slayer alive. And above all, there is absolutely no justification for this change.
The Slayer is already the most fragile melee DPS class in the game, and the devs (who haven’t explained this decision at all) somehow thought the best idea was to make it even more fragile. Its DPS is clearly not proportional to its survivability.
At this point, I’d rather play my White Lion than my Slayer, despite having high-level gear on the Slayer and that’s saying something, because I really hate High Elves.
I’ll also add that this complete radio silence around such an arbitrary nerf speaks volumes about how much interest the devs have in community feedback
