Good to be back!

Just fired up the game this past weekend and damn is it great to be back!

Used to play a blackgaurd named Lithaisa on Gorfang back in the day. Now you can find me crushing your healers on a blackgaurd named Bluntski just like the good old days!

Anyone else from Gorfang playing? I saw a bunch of familiar names running around the lakes yesterday.

I agree. WAR was some of the best, most immersive RvR/Gaming ever for me - and I still am not a Warhammer genre lore hound or playing any other Warhammer themed games. That said, I also feel like the community I played with on the server(s) we were on, the WHA forums (especially the class forums) and the Guild I was in contributed to the awesomeness of the game in general.

I'm one of many who is hoping Camelot Unchained picks up the worthwhile and excellent pieces of the WAR wreckage and adds to them. The 3-faction system is a step in the right direction IMO as well as the inherent teamwork necessary in RvR that appears to be within the new game realms.

Last night several "old timers" bantered about the well worn names of former WAR players, and I received a few /w from players who knew me from before. It's always good to come home. Now if I could just get some T1 Open RvR...

camelot unchained will have to proof how the lore and imersion works out. cant judge right now cause its far far far from any status you could. right now it feels very empty and shallow of course. but we will se in a year or so :)

warhammer comunity of the first 2 years was so **** good it sucked you into the game for many hours, you were literally in those warbands, you followed your leaders the groups were very tight, people listened and you had succes together.

later is was ror is lacking right now, but that is totally understandable looking at the status of the game.

especially wb-member marks on the map not refreshing live is a big hindering for wb-cohesive. but it will come, it will come :=)
