I had a fight against a witch elf with deff gear on my slayer and I know this is a losing battle but got damn she killed me so fast even in deff gear.......
Re: Slayer feels too weak
Even a Sorcerer will vaporize you in a few seconds if they know how to play their class. The Slayer is absolutely no longer something to fear, as it’s clearly below the average melee DPS. Too many unjustified constraints for a DPS that is clearly lagging behind.sven85z wrote: Fri Jan 23, 2026 10:17 am I had a fight against a witch elf with deff gear on my slayer and I know this is a losing battle but got damn she killed me so fast even in deff gear.......

Re: Slayer feels too weak
I would like to respond to something I’ve been reading in multiple forum threads, namely that the balance team would ignore player feedback given on the forums.Nelly74 wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 12:12 pm I’ll also add that this complete radio silence around such an arbitrary nerf speaks volumes about how much interest the devs have in community feedback
The fact that we don’t actively engage in balance related discussions on the forum doesn’t mean we don’t read or care about the feedback supplied there. I personally try to read through every balance related forum thread. The reason for not joining the discussion on the forums is simply one of time and energy. Additionally, there is a balance focus group where the balance team does more actively engage in discussions related around balance and our future ideas.
But between designing, implementing changes, doing bug fixes, having balance and other team meetings, engaging with the focus group, reading forums and actually playing the game (somewhat important for the balance team), there is just no time left for me to also engage on the forums in any in-depth way.
There will be adjustments to both Slayer and Choppa in the next patch, which I believe is planned around mid February.

I don't think many of us were looking for an in depth response so soon after the patch, but just some recognition (like your post) that the communities concerns had been noted.
