I'm someone who never uses special UIs in MMORPGs and usually prefers to stick to default. But the default WAR UI is absolutely terrible to the point of being intolerable.
So my goal with this was to create a very simple but functional basic UI for myself, keeping the aspects of the default UI that already work well, while replacing the things about it that suck. And now I have realised that maybe this might be useful for others too who had a similar experience, so I'm sharing it!
It also includes some basic quality of life addons like GCDSaver (prevents you from wasting CC's on targets that have immunity) and MiracleGrowLight (addon that makes cultivating a million times easier). You can simply disable these if you don't want to use them as they aren't essential to the basic UI.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION:
1: Download both .zip files.
2: Unzip "Interface folder.zip". Copy its contents into the RETURN OF RECKONING/INTERFACE/ADDONS folder.
3: Unzip "character settings folder.zip". Copy its contents into the RETURNING OF RECKONING/USER/SETTINGS/MARTYRS SQUARE/[YOUR CHARACTER NAME] folder.
4: Open the game and login to your character.
5: Press escape. Click "USER SETTINGS". Click "INTERFACE". Under "UI SYSTEMS", click "PROFILES". click "SimpleUI". Click "Switch". Done!
6: [optional] If any element of the UI does not show on your first load, type /reloadui and hit enter. This will usually fix the problem.
If everything has gone as it should, this will load the UI, ready to use as it shows in the screenshots - keep in mind that the UI was made at 1920x1080 resolution, so if you use a bigger or smaller resolution the scale might be off.
I do not plan to make any updates or changes to this UI. It's just something I made in a day for my own personal use back in 2024, and it has served me well since. Hopefully it helps alievate some of the frustrations that new players have with having to spend a ton of time getting their UI to a basic functional state before they can play the game. You can just download this, get going, and worry about making the perfect UI for you later
