Guild recruiting channel

Can we repurpose an existing channel or create a whole new channel specifically for guild recruiting?

Guilds are posting in /5 non stop with literal paragraphs. One guild last night was spamming ever 30 seconds between the 2 members (I believe they were reported by multiple people). It's getting ridiculous.

Then of course there's the advice channel being used for full on conversations and when you ask people to move it to another channel they tell you to piss off... but that's a different post...

Im agree with NINJA some new guild need to recrute and i have no issue with that but spam is not good imagine all guild do it that not gonna be funny for the other please take the probleme off fast! and do something !

Yes, there’s quite a lot of recruitment spam and I understand why it can be annoying. But it’s also a necessary evil, especially for non–English-speaking guilds: helping new players find people in their native language greatly improves retention (otherwise many feel lost and end up quitting). Also, new players often don’t even look at /5, and it can happen that they reach level 40 without realizing there were guilds in their language, simply because they never checked that channel.

Also, if recruitment messages in /5 bother you, you always have the option to hide/mute that channel and only show it when you actually need it.

Yes pls. Could just be force moved to /3 or, no1 uses that anyways.
Also i don't understand why some guild needs to have everyone spamming it, like i can see 1-3 ppl being the recruiters, but having to block nearly/over 10 ppl from the same guild just so you don't see the spam feels a bit much.

That's not the point. If someone is looking for a group they cannot see that because the guild spam is too much. There's NO REASON that cannot be put on another channel. and muting/unmuting is absolutely the wrong answer. Besides that 99% of the players have guilds or are solo and do not want guilds. I'm OK with recruiting (even though most people aren't looking for a guild) but it should be separate fro Looking For Group(LFG). There are numerous guilds on Order that are sending out literally 8 lines in the chat, it moves all other chat out of the way, and again muting that channel is not the answer.
