I didn't know that.

In that case Shield Sweep with Furious Reprisal, along with Shatter Limbs, gave Order 2 aoe CD increasers versus Destruction's 1 aoe CD increaser in Squig's Bad Gas. I wonder what exactly this was designed to counter. Infernal Wave paired with Chop Fasta comes to mind.

Synergies ran deep in AoR, especially in 1.4.8 - order had access to cooldown increasers as well as aoe build up increase on AM and Engie and aoe interrupts - on the other hand destro had more AP drains (shammie, BG, chosen) and aoe build up increasers on BO and Mara (plus chosen if you count anticaster aura). Morale pumps were paired up with morale drains. AP drains were correlated with AA increase as well as additional dmg on attack, be it skill or aura. Order was more defensive, destro had more raw damage. Then again there were three big balance iterations of AOR which first focused on aoe, then morale bombing and finally on counterplay. All of those were aimed at warband (and, consequently, blob) scale. ROR scales it down to small scale which has it's pluses and minuses but I admit to being biased as I am large scale enjoyer :)

Here is the reality: some people, for very personal reasons, are willing to accept the successive nerfs to the IB, and even campaign for it to be nerfed even further.
They claim that self-healing never made sense, even though the game’s mechanics were clearly designed to offer tanks that play very differently from one another.

We can see here that the lies about tank healing simply do not hold up:
– the SM heals astronomical amounts,
– the KotBS heals slightly,
– and the IB now no longer heals at all.

" The lies dont hold up " and then you present this image : D Maybe its because 24 aoe cap instead original 9? Im so tired of people pretending/not understanding that we have 2 less abilities to use in 10 seconds which is 25% less than we had for 15 years. So everything is build to work with 1.15s GCD instead of 1.5s gcd. This is the reason why there is 0-2 deaths in 6v6 if they are decent players/9 aoe cap/50% Aoe Heal Debuff tactics removed/Undefendable attacks didnt/shouldnt bypass Avoidance morales and ignore guard mechanic like they do in RoR/Morale dmg cap not existing and having the old Ranges on Melee/tanks which could be 65ft to 80ft with morales so positioning mattered so much more. This ties with 24 ae cap.

That 25% slower gameplay is the reason Regen Suddenly dominates after GCD is changed to 1.5 from 1.15s : D We used to have enough dmg to kill regen, not anymore.

Those are the main problems with nerfing crit to pathetic lvls and adding armour penetration to stupid high lvls. IB should definetely get his Grumble an mutter back i agree with that. I mean IB shouldnt need to slot tactic to gain grudge on hit. BG didnt have Dark protector when it was introduced, this is the reason BG didnt have to slot tactic to gain hate, because they had no " Oath Friend" to gain it. That this still is not changed to IB gaining grudge on hits without tactic is probably the oldest existing oversight : D
"To clarify, me asking to developers to go test their own changes is not sign of toxicity or anger, but a sign of hope that the people punching in the numbers remain aware of potential consequences and test their own changes"-Teefz

Is that healing on SM due to the blade enchantment? (wounds)

Its loking good in numbers but its nothing for your group and usually waste of tactics. Its like 1k hp per 10sec for grp. Heavens was triggered outside grp so before nerf it can show huge numbers after some mass figths, but thats not really effective healing that save life from my viev. It can be utilised when u make regen build of sm though, it will give a lot of additional sustaine.

+1 for Grumble and Mutter back - Longbeard RolePlay IB was the best...doesnt feel the same without it.

(even as a primarily destro stan, I wanna see heal spec engi make a comeback...I would also be okay with GnM healing your oath friend. SHs also need Stabbity returned.)

That would be cool actually. But prob ib+dpswp will became even more nigthmare in smallscale.

I dont really care if that snb ib heresy will regenerate more in solo, but what will became of BG? Another epic jorney of destros wispering winds, and kiling last reason why snb bg may be needed in wb?

Just throwing in support for IB's to get Grumble An' Mutter back. Things that bring personality to classes are really important, GnM is missed.
