[WE/WH] shadow

It would be great to remedy the current situation with hordes of WE/WH and introduce a system that would somewhat mitigate what is happening now.

If there are more than two WE/WH in the shadows nearby, the others should always be visible, or there should be a test every few seconds with a 50% chance of seeing them.
After all, ‘shadows’ have a certain capacity :)

just make stealth breakble when taking damage and we are good. its funny to see a Welf or Wh in stealth , hit them to death and they die whithout leaving stealth.

Just do something. The game is just horrible at the moment.

Tons of WE/WHs that unstealth and rip you up or stealth again when they're on the losing side, and if not that then DPS Healers that dot-dot-dot-dot and run away.

Strange that the solo/smallscale experience-doesn't-matter crowd hasn't descended on this thread yet, dismissing our input and denying us the right to even exist in this game.

My soon-to-be-ignored 2 cents: A group of stealthers is, in smallscale, the equivalent of a 5 warband blob. Only more effective and more toxic.

Would be same to ask for reducing the range of range classes..., oh wait they nerfed engi because there were too many playing it

This is called balancing, not deleting characters.

I love the idea.

If 2 or more welf or wh in 30 feet increase the detection by 50-100 pecent. If they are more we should see them in shadow easier.

The question actualy is, what is the mechanic behind detecting stealth? We all heard rummros that Initiative helps detect them. But could we get a formula behind it? I have noticed that a loot more players, especialy tanks have been stacking Initiative since the change to parry stat, but the detection rates seems not to improve, and also now it seems that destelthing some1 is getting close to imposible, you just have to follow and point the dps where to AOE, or just kill it, with your hits from 100% - 0 with no destelthing.

Rydiak has a ror calculator, it has a tab for stealth detection.

Its based on welf ini and your ini and i have to tell you based on this formula the chance to deteck it is very low. And its even lower with each feet.

For exaample i dont think welf exist under 250 ini
If your ini is 450 which is very high imo.
Your chance to see the welf
if the distance is 5 feet
If she is moving
If she is front of you
68% not bad but could be 90 imo with this ini differences. Idk whats the refresrate every sec dice a roll or how its work.

But i think most of the welf run 350-400 ini.
The others runs 300.
And if the welf not lapdance in yourface the chance to detect is 20 percent if she miving if stationary is 4 percent.

I missed the day when a good aoe has a good chance to reveal them.

De-stealthing by damage looks like impossible right now, but detection is based on hidden initiative roll (comparing your init to the stealther's one values), with more chance to detect based on Stealther :
1. moving or not (more easy to spot when stealther is moving)
2. standing front or back-facing (most likely to spot stealther in their back)
3. distance from enemy

Basically standing still and front-facing enemy is more or less a garanty to NOT be spotted, as opposite of running close to/from them.
