IB by far the worst Tank in PVE

Can you guys please look into IB and give him some passive or ability to keep aggro, its such a pain to bind larger groups of mobs to you that it makes me go crazy. Cant u make at least Vengful Strike/Shield Sweep a spammable aoe ability to just somehow keep aggro. Every other class have some passives or spammable aoe with better def abilities to keep you alive or bind mobs on you. All IB aoe are on high CD, anything without CD even when wasting Tacticslot to get it to be an aoe would be enought. Its seriously no fun at all to play IB in PvE at the moment without decent people who let u at least build aggro.

Based on my theorycrafting, Ironbreakers have the highest aggro availability with menance and long-held grudge...

Back in the ancient days of the live server, some IBs ran thorn-potions in pve. No idea if this is still viable ^^

Theoriecraft sadly Not Always comes true. You really need to time everything perfectly and Most time all u have is Challenge to bind Mobs for a bit, No passives or anything to keep Aggro on Mobs after that, Just Ur long CD AOes.

I can't remember IB's being bad tanks in PvE ( at least i never had any issues with it).

There are some legit concerns for PvP and the nerfing of this class which the balanceteam seems to enjoy, but for PvE? Sorry i do not see it.

Why on earth does anyone play PVE in the best PvP game that is currently available. Why not go to one of the other 100 much better pve MMORPGs.

Because im Bad in PvP and wanna Hit Mobs to compesante for it. Jokes aside, ITS because i get close to be forced to do pve to get decent Gear, hate zerging so cant brain AFK get my rr60+ with vanq etc. when i Hit 40. Struggle to even keep rr to my lvl just doing Scenarios. And best PvP Had swtor, Just No Open Roaming.

I can say that since the Challenge rework months ago I have had major issues with holding aggro on my IB, never had an issue before that. Submitted bug report on it and never was looked into. I could stand on flat ground challenge and all the mobs would run right by me. It got slightly better when the !!! was put back on challenge, but it's still not the same as it was.

One thing to note, and again, this is somewhat new, terrain matters big time. if the mobs are even slightly below you on a road they will bypass you and go straight for the party.

it seems fine to me, challenge -> earthshatter -> rune-etched axe -> shield sweep -> blood of grimnir -> mash whatever comes off cd first and guard swap as needed, you should never lose threat

you seem to be new here. most people do pve for gear reasons and unlocking wards tonsave wae crests for endgame Equipment
