Have to spec regen defftard on Sorc if you wanna 1vs1 or solo the lakes.

what u mean wirh deftart? the thing someone said under u with 800+tough? if i go full tou i would have very little lifepool. atm i struggle stay alive for more then 10sec, lifereg wouldnt have much impact there or? what lifereg is availible? atm i only have this pocket shroom

Sorc isn't built for solo ganking or 1v1s. No amount of regen will save you, and their kite potential is non-existent. People will eventually close the gap, and when they do, it’s going to hurt.

Well, buddy, you pick the wrong class for that. If you want to play on caster class and be good (very good, actually) in 1x1 - go play magus or sham (yes, healers can do dmg here and healers dps-specs are very strong in 1x1 or in small groups). Thats it. Ofc you can pray that some day devs release a new patch, when sorc can do something 1x1... Or you can just play magus/shamy

Also you can play on archmage or rune priest on order, they very good too.

that was not my question. i m not searching to only run solo, but im often forced to. i play my main(shaman) with a friend mara every 2nd weekend, used a lot time testing out all destro classes in t1 and now, when i have time, running with sorc. i often play quite late in eu times and i got different choices: SC very barly starts(if they do ppl often instaquit or after the first fight). i can join a random wb, where i can be happy if i make more then 1-2k renown/h. only good if siege happening. so i find myself in the 3rd option and run boxes in not so populated zones and often face 1vsX. and i wanna give my toon at least the chance to win a 1v1 if it happens. i accept my class is weak, i accept im not40 and weaker then real 40s, iaccept icant use the highest pots+talis....but in a fight against other non 40s (rare) want at least a chance to win. that was the point of my question. and thx to the others with their help

you are lvl 23 on the worst 1v1 class in the game. you can't really expect to win in this case, it's not how the game works.

to begin with at lower level you will auto-lose to almost any competent/semi-geared lvl 40 player in a 1v1 (especially if they have a solo build). this doesn't really matter what class you are. most 1v1 duels come down to rocks, paper, scissors scenario with a few matchups being 50/50 or 60/40 assuming both players are equal gear and equal skill.

even once you're 40 you will be playing at a distinct disadvantage as a sorc in 1v1s due to the design of the class. simply it doesn't fit in to the rocks, papers, scissors gameplay of dueling very well. it isn't 100% impossible to 1v1 with sorc of course but it will be a tremendous uphill battle vs almost any matchup especially if the opponent has a proper solo build himself.
