Repeat returning player looking for halp

Hello gamers

For a little background on myself, I played WAR on release (#ironrock) and have always loved the base idea even though EA **** Mythic over. So, naturally I have been following RoR since it's inception and have made repeated returns periodically. I usually end up playing for a little bit and living through some nostalgia, but I haven't committed.

I've been checking the RoR homepage like bi-yearly minimum for the past decade just checking up. I'm always happy to see you guys still here and doing your thing keeping this old failed MMO alive. It looks like there are a lot of interesting things that have been done or in the pipeline to be done, and the server pop seems healthier than I've seen in years.

That said, I'd like to be a part of it all. I'm going to jump back into the game, but I'd really like to connect with other players and a guild. I just got done with a year or so in EverQuest and the social aspect of these smaller pop communities are the peak of online gaming. So, guild invite plz?

You may want to include what timezone you intend to play in (EU, NA, OCE) and what faction you intend to play. After that we can recommend a guild to reach out to.

If you're Destro, especially NA timezones, the Goblin Workers Union (GWU) help new and returning players quite a bit.

There are many wonderful guilds on the Order side as well across all timezones. Best place to start is joining one of these communities, this game is more fun with friends

My time zone is PST. However, I am self-employed so my play time is flexible.

I haven't really committed to Destro or Order at this point. I'll most likely be active on both sides though as that allows me to switch for balance. I have a 28 BG that I am playing currently, and I made an IB for the other side of the coin that is 9 right now. I'm not 100% on any of that yet either though.

I have experience and am comfortable in all roles. (bit of a switch you might say) Just need to find a guild to call home.

So on order side for your timezone you have Tuff Bois and Jempie. On destro side you have GWU and Agony. For cross realm guilds the only one that is active is TUP. Jempire and GWU are the blob guilds on both sides, Tuff Bois tends to run 12-24 man wbs, and Agony tends to run 6-12 mans. TUP usually runs a 18-24 man that fills with people from outside of their guild with a high gear requirement. Both sides usualy have at least someone on who has invite rights so once you make your decision reach out to them to get an invite.
