What is Emporium?
Emporium is an Auction House addon focused on making the AH easier to use, easier to understand and less painful than getting lost in endless filters and badly sorted lists.
The main idea is simple:
Instead of only showing more auction data, Emporium tries to help players make better Auction House decisions.
It is designed around what players actually want to do:
- Find useful gear upgrades
- Compare auction gear with currently equipped gear
- Restock consumables
- Find useful talismans
- Check market prices
- Spot good deals
- Sell items with better price context
==============================
Main features
Cleaner Auction House interface
A custom AH window with dedicated sections for Search, Shop, Consumables, Talismans and Sell, in a consistent flat visual style with five selectable themes.
Settings panel
A full settings window - every option is functional. Open it with the Settings button or
Code: Select all
/emp settingsSearch and browsing
Clearer result rows, sorting, buyout values and price per unit. Item name search is now multi-word and order-independent: "wind ring", "ring wind" and "outlaw ring" all find "Outlaw's Wind Ring".
Market price context and verdicts
Emporium tracks market prices locally from your own searches, then labels listings Great Deal, Fair, Overpriced, Suspicious Low or Thin Market.
Gear Assistant + upgrade scoring
Click a gear slot to search for upgrades, or "All slots" for a full cross-slot sweep that compares every item against what you have equipped in that slot and shows only real upgrades. Upgrades are ranked by how much each stat matters to your career role (a healer sees Willpower/Wounds gear first, not Strength), across all rarities including blue, purple and set items. Optional "Hide gear downgrades" in Settings.
Consumable and talisman recommendations
Role and career-aware consumable suggestions (sorted strongest-usable-first) and talisman ranking by role, stat, value and usability. Preset buttons show the gem icon of their stat.
Saved searches
Save your current filters and recall them from the Saved sidebar in the Search tab. Click one to run it instantly - the sidebar stays open so you can click through your markets like a playlist.
Sell helper
Drag an item from your bags onto the item slot (or click it), see the 5 cheapest competing listings with your own flagged (you) and suspicious undercuts flagged (low?), and get suggested pricing. A manual price box overrides the suggestion. The deposit shown follows your city's rank, exactly like the native AH.
Pricing strategies + rules manager
Undercut, match, median-anchored, fixed per-unit, fixed total, or vendor multiplier. Tick "Remember" to save a rule per item; review and delete all your rules from the Saved sell rules panel.
Batch posting, restock and repost
Split a stack into several listings and post them in one go (drawing from every stack of the item in your bags). Restock posts every bag item that has a saved rule. Cancel a listing and it is marked for repost - collect it from the mailbox and Restock relists it competitively.
My listings + activity log
View your active auctions with a live X/50 counter and a running total of what they are worth if they all sell. The Activity log (Sell tab) keeps a journal of your listings, cancels, restocks and buys.

What's new in 0.39.1
- Gear: "All slots" now compares every item against what you have equipped in its slot and shows only real upgrades, ranked for your role, across all rarities (blue / purple / set items included). Per-slot searches too - no more green-only results.
- Upgrade scoring is role-weighted (healers see Willpower/Wounds first, tanks Toughness/Wounds, etc.), with an optional "Hide gear downgrades" setting.
- Multi-word, any-order item name search.
- Saved sell rules manager, activity log, and a repost workflow (cancel marks an item, Restock relists it).
- Fixed total pricing strategy.
- Deposit now follows your city rank exactly (thanks wardfan220), batch posting draws from every stack, and My listings shows a total-if-sold.
- Saved searches moved into the Search tab as a sidebar; five selectable themes; consistent flat buttons throughout.
- New helper commands: /emp help, /emp log, /emp bug.

Known limitations
- Market data is local and builds over time from your own AH searches.
- Gear comparison focuses on stat bonuses and may not evaluate every special effect perfectly.
- Talisman ranking is still being refined.
- Some item categories, slots or career-specific cases may need adjustment.
- Advanced selling tools are functional but still need wider testing.
- The game client only writes addon saved data (searches, rules, market data, settings) to disk on a clean logout or . A crash loses recent changes - do a quick

Feedback wanted
I would really appreciate feedback, especially on:
- Lua errors
- Wrong prices, deposits or price per unit values
- Bad or confusing market verdicts
- Gear slots detected incorrectly, or upgrade suggestions that do not make sense
- Talisman or consumable suggestions that feel wrong for your career
- Items that break comparison, pricing or display
- Strange behavior with selling, batch posting, restock or undercut management
Code: Select all
/emp bug- What you clicked or searched
- Item name, if item related
- Lua error text, if available
- Screenshot, if possible
Planned improvements
- Improved repost workflow polish
- More role / stat-weight tuning
- Better item search helpers
- More polish based on feedback

Thanks to anyone willing to test it.
The goal is to make the Auction House easier to use, easier to understand and more helpful for actual player decisions, instead of just adding more filters to an already messy system.
