X2 Crest Event designed for DPS?

This X2 event is only worthwhile for DPS players. In groups, several crests drop for the DPS, however, healers and tanks usually only get one.

Are you saying that DPS get more crests in this game regardless of the bonus? Or that they bonus only applies to DPS?

I guess it's related to how contribution works, sadly... DPS are doing the most contribution overall in fights, that's why they tend to win crests more often than other archetypes.

Also, unless something changed regarding warband loot attribution, you have far more chance to win crests in a DPS-heay group (and if they are doing the most damage of all groups).

But isnt the system for winning loot of a player kill related to the damage you do. Something like 10% of the enemyplayers health = 10%chance to win the loot. But that loot roll has an equal share between anyone you play with. The tanks guarding the dps have a fair equal chance of rolling just on the same warcrest, as the dps they are guarding, or the healers healing them.

Now anyone taking the chance to run without tanks and/or healers have less supports to potentially share their plunder with, but also needs to rely more on allies to frontline, soak damage, and mitigate damage for them, by only bringing damage and not being willing to share their damage-loot rolls with those who privide a stable frontline for you.

The actual /random100 roll is same for anyplayer regardless of archtype. but optaining loot from a player kill in a 200vs200 battle is mainly based on the damagedealers and luck. but still shared per warband/group.

That's how I thought it worked too. Everyone in your group (or warband?) has the same chance regardless of what role or contribution they have. Your group (or is it warband?) has a better chance to get the loot if they do more damage.

The loot rolls only worked for parties before but I think they changed it to whole warband in one of the patches.
