Difference between Slayer and Choppa

Guys is there some big differences between these two classes or they are complete mirror of each other?
Is the 2h slayer more viable or it is the same even bigger glass canon as all 2h dps?
Im just curios about some order classes, never tried them.

Atm i would say Choppa is slightly better than slayer in all kinds of content. The biggest difference between the 2 classes is probably the 2h build while the aoe dual wield is almost identical apart from GTDC, which is definetely better than ID after the nerfs. Choppa feels better designed overall and has more of an identity than slayer. This clearly shows on the Population charts where slayer is the least played mdps in the last 3-6 months while choppa is still competitive with the other melee classes.

The Choppa is far superior to the Slayer. It has more wounds and the "Get to the Choppa" ability breaks up order formations, preventing them from building morale in critical moments or from escaping them in open terrain.

But slayer is cooler

Back in the day slayer was the better of the two but RoR has gone through many balance changes and patches and the like and now choppa is better over all though both classes are in a bit of a rather bad spot after the armor changes while in rage from two classes already suffering from being very squishy

And choppa already had some bonus points from winning fashionhammer

There are only two things keeping Choppa in the game:

A. Choppa looks cool
B. GtdC

SL got more build option than choppa but similar in terms of support needed to have fun. If you plan to soloq or pug wb it will be a hard.

I didn't say Choppas or Slayer are top tier in game. They are not on the best momment.
