Several recurring (and frustrating) GUI problems. Are these known bugs?

Are these problems known bugs with the game/addons/lutris, or am I uniquely cursed?
  • Unlocked crafting bags randomly becoming inaccessible and uninteractable. Sometimes temporarily fixed if you move something out of and into your standard crafting bag.
  • [using MoraleCircle] Morale abilities randomly becoming unclickable (can still be activated with F9-F12).
  • Some abilities getting removed (including a core one, so not just unlockables) or duplicated on the hotbar after you change specs and then teleport/fly. The spec swap works fine, the bug doesn't kick in until you fast travel.
  • Custom spec names randomly being reset to the default 'Healer' and 'Melee' at the trainers.
  • The visibility and position of several addon-related GUI elements being reset to 'factory default' if you close the layout editor without saving.
  • I randomly become unable to open the auction window. Nothing happens when I click on the NPCs.
  • I can't heal Battle Fatigue at Healer NPCs that don't bring up the 'Heal One/All' window right away (see several healers in Gunbad, for examples). Nothing happens when I click the Heal dialogue option.
I have tried clearing the cache. Didn't work.
I have tried disabling all addons. Didn't fix the Healer NPC issue. The rest are hard to test, so I'll ask if they're known issues here first so I don't end up wasting my time.

On a separate note, the forum gives me 'The solution you provided was incorrect' errors 95% of the time when I try to post or preview anything. Then it rate limits me for trying too many times.

You can have custom spec names!?

The crafting bag one is annoying, but usually /rel fixes it. /rel also fixes the auction house.

Craft bags same story, switching a tab fixes this for me
Morales nope
Abilities nope
Custom spec names reset only if interacted from different PCs. They aint stored server side
Layout nope
AH known bug
Healers nope. Suspect lag spike or latency issues your side

Forum post issues are annoying af, but its cloudflare and highly dependant on your routing into OHV (hosting provider). VPN or windevrt (any other antiDPI tool or means to interfere with your traffic) fixes this. Sometimes

Shift + right click, if I'm not mistaken. Or maybe left click.

I've only ever run the game on this PC.

It did not affect my party members, and has been the case multiple days in a row (I don't think I've ever had it work properly, but that particular kind of healer NPC is pretty rare so I'm not sure).

Reinstalled a completely fresh copy of the game through Lutris. No addons. Still can't heal from two-click healer NPCs.

/shrug

Custom spec names you will have to track and find out more details, i havent encountered random changes and then contact RoR staff on discord plus put into bugtracker once you can reproduce or have more details.

As for healers give more details (what exact healer, where to get killed, etc) i can try to reproduce both on Linux and Windows

It seems to happen on all healer NPCs that have an extra click required to heal (because they also offer a quest, for example). The ones that bring up the healing window right away work fine.

Examples of broken ones include the one in the video and the one outside Masta Mixa's chamber.

Thanks for all the help so far, but you don't have to do that. In order to determine if MoraleCircle was the problem with my unresponsive morale buttons, I uninstalled it, cleared the cache, unhid the default morale bar, and... now it's gone. The default morale bar is invisible, and nothing I do seems to make it visible again. That turned out to be the final straw.

As an MMO enthusiast and Warhammer fan, this has been an immensely frustrating experience. Any time I was starting to get into it and have fun, some new bug popped up. Some were trivial, others annoying, and some (like the inability to use morales, and the broken fatigue healers) outright gamebreaking. The stuff I posted in the OP wasn't even close to a full list. Even if I managed to fix or work around one, I knew that two more would rise to take its place.

...and with that rant, my Righteous Fury is expended and I'm done. I hope the upcoming patch, new dungeons, city raid overhaul, and everything else works out well for all the people who can endure the bugs, or who are blissfully immune to them.

I had fun at times, and I got to see Mt. Gunbad again for the first time since 2011. Not a bad deal.

can't help much with the bugged healer, never seen that one but I use the mod Healall, makes it so you just right click the healer and it auto cleanses the debuff so no going through the npcs dialog screens.

the ui issues i've had a plenty so the first way to fix this is to find the other mods that are adding to your pain. Most of the non default uis have extra mods to hide windows/action bars/hidden frames and these are buggy messes that will block you from bringing back hidden frames. So look for HideBar - HideHiddenFrames - Phantom in you add-ons and disable them and try to reload the ui, that will probably not work so then you open up the layout editor, click on restore defaults then click exit and then say NO to save changes, this almost always works for me in getting hidden frames back.

If that still does not work, open you return of reckoning folder and delete the cache, interface and user folders. Start the game and at the login go to settings and hit repair, it will then download the default ui. This is a drastic measure and will remove all your keybindings but it will fix your ui issues.

To fix crafting bags you can't interact with I sort by list then back again. I have to do it nearly every login but have never had to do it more than once per login. Never had to /rel or log oout.
