[SW] Festering arrow

I dont understand why shadow warrior cant hit big numbers with FA when u have classes that obliterate you for 3 seconds , magus hit me for 3200,sorc/shaman syphon u for all your life,WE 3 shot you when comes out of stealth and the proceeds to vanish 25 times, zealot 3sec kills me with dots .... what is the agrument here exactly i dont get it. the FA now yes it does more damage overall but it feels so shity to play and when u need asap damage u just cant rely on your "hardest hiting ability" 10 full seconds until it does its full dmage who are we protecting here players that have zero mechanical skill and no key binds and it takes them 7 business days to react to ****. Atleast consider bringing it down to 5 seconds with 5 stacks and when you are vengeful just to apply all the 5 stacks and be done with it ,and also the tactic accelarated delay can be brought down to 2.5 sec.

Because people deciding the what is balanced and what is not were mostly at recieving end or didn't care?

Just look at the patch notes. It's quite obvious that aSW was the main direction of the rework. Still, it's better than WL rework where there were no WL responsible at all. At least, i can't imagine an actual WL player who could say that WL's pet is fine and there is no need to do anything. Unless you are WB WL AoE bot, of course.

Drop Accelerated delay imo, its not worth it as FA is not the main dmg anymore.
You better spam eagle eye when need Asap damage.
Gwelthas : WL 87 The Eternal Host
Gwelthaz : IB 86 3rd Bitterstone Thunderers
Gweltaz : SL 84 3rd Bitterstone Thunderers
Gweltz : SW 84 The Eternal Host

Gwelth : marauder 80
Gwelt : BG 81

You can't drop the tactic if you don't slot it in the first place.

Still, the scout just got the stuff SH had (+HD range) while losing disarm and armor from assault stance. All while the SH's big shootin got buffed.

Coincedence? I don't think so.

So basically FA is trash compared to its previous form, this RDPS ''balance'' of SW unfortunately was done to harm the ranged specs. It's ridiculous FA would have been to strong when you have classes like Magus in the game, doing that dps but with lots of more survivability than SW could ever dream of.

There are too many shortcomings both on the offensive, and defensive sides of the ''rework'' to draw any other conclusions.

Are there any aSW players out there that think aSW rework was good ? It wasnt a popular spec before the reword and its not popular after, I never see aSW's in scs

The SW rework comes off as a hostile act.

The Skirmish line (that is supposed to be AOE in orientation) has been turned into a variant of Squig Quick Shootin mastery (mid-range single target), minus a pet that has no range restrictions, and no AP drain costs. The range restrictions and gutting of AOE means Skirmish SWs are basically food for Destro as the 65ft or 80ft range modeling means being in range of all Destro with range options, all the time. The Skirmish SW population has collapsed. It simply isn't competitive. This is a rework failure.

The Scout line (which seems where SWs that remain and were Skirmish before have shifted to) is designed around a backloaded Fester Arrow that is so long and weak no Scout SWs seem to use it at all. They simply spam Eagle Eye and Fell the Weak where appropriate. This is a rework failure.

The Assault line remains a fetish mastery. Of the very few aSWs that exist I think some like some of the changes, and dislike others. The reality however is aSWs have no integration with WBs. This means they are on the periphery of RvR and remain a solo, small-scale irrelevancy that is inferior to other mDPS. A mastery that is irrelevant is a rework failure.

Players vote with what they play. Have SW numbers increased or decreased post patch? Do we see large numbers of players talking about how great or exciting the rework SW is? The answers are damning of the SW rework Team. It is obvious none played SW as a main. It is rework by spreadsheet with no understanding of the class informed by a basic apathy toward their product and toward SW players themselves. It is shameful work.
