Launcher Problems

Access was denied to the path or file WAR.exe!

Some torrent clients will write-protect the directory to which you downloaded the client. Remove the write-protection and try again. You may also try running the launcher with Administrator privileges.

My friend has been trying to get in on the game for a while now, he keeps having a problem with his launcher not connecting to the game servers. We have both read through the tech forums and the quoted post and done every step we can to try to fix it, but still nothing. The problem is his webserver is red and login server is yellow. He's tried turning off his firewalls, turning off write protect, run as admin, moving the launcher to diff folders (its in the main war directory), and a bunch of other things, and nothing has worked yet. Any ideas please?

If there's an error message about WAR.exe, it's most likely blocked in the file properties.
